im pretty pessimistic, i think its pretty productive thinking, cuz i can prepare myself for the what if's; then there's them guys who complain like a lil bitch and then dont do nothing about it.

I think I tend to be between completely on this. I would say Im more of a realist, but not in a pessimistic sense. I simply feel that to be optimistic when things are in your favor is best and when things are more against you to prepare for the worst. I dont really control either so it would all depend on my luck whether or not my outlook is optimistic or pessimistic.
I'm very optimistic, and it works for me. I'm one of the happiest people I know. I always believe something good is waiting for me out there, whether it be a better job, a better education opportunity, etc. And most of the time, it turns out to be true. Life is good. And I believe your life can only be as good as you envision it to be, so dream big.
I got the optimist award in High School. That was a long time ago but I haven't changed much [at least in that aspect]. It wasn't a joke award like "class flirt" but an actual award.
I'd say I'm optimistically pessimistic. Basically I always expect the worst possible thing to happen, but I look on the bright side of it. "Whats the worst that can happen? I get arrest? Oh well, its not like its a criminal offence" "So worst comes to worst I fail my exam, frankly I never liked that course anyways" Thinking this way works the best for me, you are not only prepared for bad situations, and can work to avoid them, you can still be happy with every possible outcome.
Remember, a pessimist can only be right or pleasantly surprised, an optimist can only be right or disappointed.
I'd say I'm an optimist/realist - I tend to hope for the best but prepare for the worst.

I'm more pessimistic than optimistic. I just don't want get my hopes up and end up not happening. So when if in the beginning I think negatively, when things don't go the way I wanted, I won't hurt much. I guess. But when thing does went great, then I am much happier
