I know it's a little strange to be asking about a manga with a western theme lol but I recently read Miriam and I liked it. It was a sweet story, a western atmosphere I guess with action (western like) and a hint of romance. It was a nice change to tell the truth, I found it somewhat original so I was wondering out of curiosity I fthere are other manga like this one (I mean the western theme). This is an old manga; understandable though since western was an 80s thing and it's been long forgotten but I was curious

Blaster Knuckle

And you could consider Eat-man as western influenced.

But that's it can't think of more without looking it up and for that I'm way too lazy at the moment.

Emma(http://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=104) is a great manga and my personal favorite. Believe me, it's really good and quiet realistic, you should give it a try. Shirley (http://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=1179) is good too, it's a oneshot but a cute one they're all set in the Victorian-era(England). Anyway I like almost all of Mori Kaoru - sensei 's works. Well, hope it's of some help smile
