I'm looking for a manga/anime like Suzuka or Kimi no Iru

Gakuen Alice Sorta, they grow a bit older? Not sure if this counts
Hourou Musuko Not entirely accurate to your tastes because
Shinkuu Yuusetsu Shounen-ai
Haven't read these yet but I hear they work

Haha this is totally the opposite of the kind of stuff I normally like, but Haru yo, koi popped straight into my mind when I read your description. It's got yuri parts and is borderline H, though, so if you're not into that, I'd avoid it XD

ohhh infact Hourou Musuko looks rather interesting...
for awhile now i have been looking for that type of story

Well, he actually starts dating his sister's friend around early middle school, and he's with her at in the end of high school. He never actually went out with his "original romantic choice."
