I don't think Dragon ball is a cliche manga because it started a lot of those cliches. And they were not cliches while it was running.
I have no idea about the most cliche manga because I usually stay away from those...

Kaikan Phrase - it had every single cliché available. As did Akuma de Sourou, but I could stomach it. I stopped reading KP at 9th volume or so, it was just... Argh .

Dragon Drive has a ton of Cliches. Actually, it has maybe.. 90% of all Shounen cliches.

Bingo.
The mangas with the most cliches are very likely to be large contributors to why they became a cliche. Dragonball and DBZ are prime examples.
As for most cliched in general, i'll have to do some searching and then report back, but my gut instinct tells me it will be one of the multitude of shonen harems that have mimicked ichigo 100% / Love Hina.

I don't know. A lot of oneshot shoujo manga built on cliche, similar to each other and sometimes take a part from longer shoujo manga which also have cliche.

All shoujo mangas!!
You obviously had only bad experiences with shoujos . There are lots of good ones, just generally stay away from school life and mahou shoujo ones, they seem to be the most cliche's on average.
Erm. Yeah. [m]38 degrees[/m] wins the award by far (I'm ashamed for even reading it). Also Past day present, Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne (and most other mahou shoujos) and anything besides Sunako in Perfect girl evolution.
I don't remember alot because I prefer erasing the memory of bad/cliched/traumatizing/sleep-inducing mangas -___-''
