I'm looking for an evil villain to be obsessed with the main female-lead. I want him to be crazy possessive. Whether or not he is in love with the heroine doesn't really matter (though I'd prefer it if he were). I'd also like it if he were the main male-lead, if not, that's fine. Also, when I mean evil, I don't mean 'Ohh, I'm gonna bully you and make you cry!'; I mean 'Killing means nothing to me.'. He has to truly be evil. As for the heroine, I don't want her to be naive and sugary. I want her to be strong and a good person. The heroine can be repulsed by the villain's evilness, but I'd like it if she came to accept him for who he is. A manga example would be Crystal Dragon.

Someone like Komomo, the level 0 heroine who has just appeared before him, ready to vanquish him like all heroes (or heroines) do. Faced with a demon king who'd rather watch TV under a kotatsu and make out with her than spread evil over the land, what will Komomo do?

Lol, all these suggestion I think the guys aren't that evil (though Seimaden comes close with Laures' badassery). Guess my tastes for evil are darker?
Jewels - If you can handle the idea that the lead is a male who can transform into female... This is probably the most cruel villain who likely ends up with heroine pairing that I've read (haven't finished it yet).
Shadow of Visions - The male yandere tag is for the villain in this story. (He's not the main male lead though.) It's not that murder is nothing, it's just that he's willing to do almost anything to have her. The manhua's labeled as tragedy, but not really... vague mild ending spoiler:

You know, titling your thread with "pure-hearted" was really misleading. I kept thinking in terms of Fruits Basket pure/innocent/naive (ugh!) and so I kept putting off this thread.

Wish that I could recommend smt but I've been looking for that kind of manga myself for years now!!!
Truly evil villain who loves the girl & despite him being evil she accepts and loves him.Thou I wouldn't mind tragedy...
And i have to agree with SilverStorm, that all these suggestion guys aren't that evil. My tastes for evil are darker as well
So far the closest (more or less, thou more less) I've found are:
Boukyaku no Haou Roland - but he isn't truly evil or possessive, at least not yet, we'll have to see how it continues
Hatenkou Yuugi's Kiara (unfortunately shows up later & not the main male character) would fit pretty good thou
Pandora Hearts's Jack & Lacie fit 99% your description thou. But they're not the main couple/characters & Lacie shows up waaay later (in memories/past stories).
I think Ayashi no Ceres had smt along those lines as well, but it has drama tag. Read it years ago & it was sad, but had a possessive villain, yeaaah. But I don't think he was the main character...well main villain yes, but other than that...should read for yourself.
Honestly, even if the characters fit, they're not the main couple. That's truly sad. There's no such manga

Thanks so much! Jewels and Masca are some of my favorite mangas. I read a little of Seimaden and the villian was kinda what I was looking for although I wish he had shown more of his evil side. Mangas along these lines are what I'm looking for.

skadei is a king, he is villainous and cruel even to his lover, lala. And when i say villain, i really mean villain as he can do everything to achieve his goals. He has everything: fame, power, money,status, but he desperately seeks his mistress' attention. She is his only weakness and is strong and definitely not a crybaby. They loved each other but for some reason, lala couldn't admit her love and she always wanted to leave him. Because of that, skadei was hurt and forced lala to stay by his side. He is possessive over her and can threaten the ones she loves so she will not leave him. They are not the main couple of the story but it's by far my favorite couple.
