Something with similar vibe to the protagonists from Spice and Wolf, or Watashi no Ookami-san, or Meteor Methuselah, or maybe Kanata Kara. They travel together, met other people along the way but in the end they continue their journey with only each other. Something along the line with 'the only one who knows the real him/her, knew each other best, only depend on each other' like my favorite but sadly uncanon Lelouch and CC from Code Geass. Don't have to be romance or adventure or action, but I want something more than slice of life. Have to be male x female. NO loli or shota, except if they just look young.

I'm not looking for manga only, can be anime or TV series (Japan, Korean, Chinese, Taiwan, USA, UK). And for anime, maybe something like Requiem for the Phantom.

Already watched and loved DtB (except for the second season because there's no Yin) and Legend of Legendary Heroes. They fit, thanks . But the rest of your anime recommendation is male X male, so... sorry. And as far as I know Rave is a group adventure kind of stuff and Ellie x Haru wasn't really the kind of couple that I'm looking for. The same can be said to Chrono Crusade, since the couples from each manga pretty much depend on each other in a physical/material sense (magic, seal, etc). So sorry again . Will try the rest of your manga recs.
