Now we all know there is a fair share of shoujos out there that are just plain horrible, but what moment in a shoujo just made you done, and why? What moment(s) made you just rage quit out of it. May it be something a character said or did, or just what was happening in general.

For me this one specific moment L-DK just hade me flipping tables. To be honest the entire manga was just annoying me, but it was decent enough to keep me staying out of curiosity, but then
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
It was, I think my memory's a bit foggy with this one (I read this a while ago, I just remembered right now), around after Kugayama had left her apartment, and she was all sad. Then somehow she was sick or got hurt or something, and he just comes in and they start acting like everything's normal? I may not have total recollection of what happened, but I remember closing it in frustrastion because it was as if nothing had happened, as if in previous chapters he had just left her out in the rain when she confessed

It really isnt that great, but an example.
So what was a moment in shoujo(s) that made you just made you want to quit and just irritated you so much?

SA
Cause of the girl in general..

Another, forgot the manga title,
Apparently, the male lead acts coldly towards the female, and he treats her as a dog,
The female tried going out with another male, the male lead acts cool and acts like he doesn‘t care, by the end of the date, the female knew that it wouldn‘t work out after all,
then the male lead was there, watching them, heh, pisses me,
if you really care, then act like it..

Dropped this here, didn‘t even bother remembering the title..

I've seen so many shoujos where the male lead gives off the attitude that he doesn't care at all about the girl, but then the second another guy pops up, he's all jealous (i'm reading one right now where this kind of situation happens, it's a guilty pleasure) and even sometimes when the guys alone he's like "i love her" but doesn't show it and the entire time I'm just confused confused

Haha, I think that this kind is much better than the manga I mentioned,
I mean, I think the female even asked him if its ok for her to try going out with another male,
the male lead just gave her a sarcastic remark and then that..

Atleast one should stick to one‘s own decision and not be like that, hmmm..

Like in SA, atleast if he‘s jealous, he openly shows it, that‘s why I completed this manga even though the female was really,,,... annoying me..

Recently I was reading Masca and I was just done with it when
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
in volume 6 Rell had to give Kainen her virginity so he wouldn't kill Elihue, her fiance/teacher/father figure. Then after it happened and Elihue found out he was like, 'well it wasn't your fault you were [manhua specific term for being 'in heat' that I don't remember] so you couldn't help yourself' and totally forgave her. (I mean it was bad enough that practically every character was in love with her (except for the ones who were jelous or hated her for no reason))

Cue flipping tables and smacking away cups, to signal that I am DONE with this manga.

Well gosh that's just a staple of shoujo manga. It's like a mangaka cop-out for a pretending to not care male love interest to come out of his shell.

Kousha no Ura ni wa Tenshi ga umerarete iru

Ok, this is far from being your stereotypical shoujo. Rather than ragequit, it just creeped me out

I was about to drop it before the twist came. Then I read on out of curiosity, quite disturbing. Of course it's unrealistic especially considering their age, but that only makes it worse. I wonder if I'll still continue reading this just to see the tables turn, but it probably won't happen <_<

Only 3 chapters out, but after the end of ch3 I was just done.

I can understand how it would creep people out but personally for me I respect it so much for going against the grain and not being your typical shoujo. Plus each chapter is like a piece of a larger puzzle making you want to uncover the bigger picture to see what crazy things will happen next.

Okay for me personally I remember when I first really started to read quite a bit about 10 years ago. I was interested in trying out some shoujo. Around this time I found myself reading quite a few HWANG Mi-Ri works. It didn't take long for them to get old real quick. Without fail every one of them came off as incredibly dumb and rage inducing. Not to mention the art was nothing special.

I guess these things are to be expected from a group that pushes out manga like a factory. Chances are if somebody mentioned a rage inducing moment in this thread I've seen it in one of their works. Too many different moments for me to name.
