I'm looking for a romance manga in which the male love interest is masculine, preferably rugged in appearance. I really dont like romance mangas where the love interest is either a bishie, pretty boy or emo (to be more specific, guys with hair half way down their faces). I dont mind if the manga is from the guys perspective and the girl shouldn't be annoying or b**chy, but shouldn't be whiny either. I know im being way to specific, lol, but i really wanna see a romance manga with non-typical characters. And no incest and lolita stuff, lol, those turn me off. Would be nice if it wasnt a high school romance, but i dont really mind as long as its worth it.

Romance mangas i've read;

Hapi Mari (surprisingly good)
3am danerous zone (the protagonist and her love interest were the kind of characters im looking for in a romance manga, sadly it was too short.)
Chocolat (Romance manga from the guys perspective, and the guy was masculine, the girl was a bit b****y but she had her reasons.)

er... and maybe Koi to Gunkan by the same author as Ane no Kekkon the main character isn't a high school girl... she's younger...lol but she's not really rude and whiny? just a little off...

Thank you so much for ur suggestions! I'll give them a try . I'm fine with the whole adultery thing as long as the protagonist's reasons for it is justifiable (like a bad marriage or something).

I think what you're looking for is generally called as Josei manga. (Or at least it's much easier to find some good titles fitting your description within this genre.)
