. Alrighty then, im gonna be a bit specific about the manga im looking for;1) Should be an action manga.
2) No effeminate or willowy male characters (in other words, no bishies, nuh-uh, nope, can't stand them anymore but I'm fine with them being villains or side characters, but not the lead)
3) Characters should not be children or teenagers (its alright for them to start off as children and late teens if fine)
4) Supernatural, Sci-Fi, Fantasy (preferably dark fantasy)
5) No historical manga
6) Strong female characters who are'nt used as fanservice.
7) Decent art
8) should be at least 70 chapters.
9) Less ecchi the better.
10) No high school setting (i kinda hate these)
The one manga (IMHO) which met all these requirements was until death do us part. The guys looked masculine (not a bishie in sight,lol) and the ladies looked beautiful without being over sexualized, good action, Sci-Fi, great art, hardly any ecchi and most of the characters were adults.
Action manga that i've read;
Beserk
Jojos bizzare adventure series (ok the guys in this were "fabulous" but they looked like guys at least and the action was great. However, later on the art style started to change and in the end everyone had the same face and all the men and women looked like they had the same daddy "yikes"! )
Veritas (gorgeous characters but the story was weak; dropped it)
Ubell blatt (no no no no! ewwwww shota and loli fanservice! dropped it after the first chapter)
Flame of Recca (my first manga, it'll always have a place in my heart )
Jackals (loved, but it was too short)
Bleach (dragged on for too long, but it was fun)
FMA (Loved it!)
Crying freeman (gorgeous art. The men and women in this very beautifully drawn. Sadly it turned into an ecchi fest after the first volume)
Gantz ('twas a strange and frightening affair)
Shin angyo onshi (wish it went on a bit longer, loved it)
Basara (beautiful story, albeit the sloppy art style)
Claymore (GIRL POWER!!! Seriously, we need more female leads in action manga)
Feng Shen Ji (beautiful art, coloured pages, great character designs, epic)
Fist of the north star (A bit too hyper masculine, but i kenshiro was hot....hehe )
Gansta
Battle Royale (Its like three different artists worked on this; The main characters were good looking, the bad guys were super ugly and the less important characters were wacky/looney looking. But i liked it)
Anyway, im gonna stop here, lol. So What are your recommendations? Sorry im being way too specific, but think of it as a challenge!
