You could try something like Btooom! where a bunch of normal people are dropped into a kill or be killed situation. The protagonist does have video game experience but no actual martial arts or other physical training.

I suppose it is too late now for MU to organize on time, but Wikipedia and Reddit are doing a blackout on Jan. 18 as an act of protest. Not exactly sure of the times, but Wiki is currently blacked out and Reddit isn't yet.
