This interests me very much and I hope you get good suggestions. Unfortunately, I don't have any series to contribute. The only story I know that comes close is a oneshot shojou I read a long time ago, Melodramatic Library and maybe Deadman Wonderland.

Hello, I usually browse my manga by author/mangaka/artist. Is there a way to tweak the options/lists so I can get updated when a mangaka releases something new? I don't mean chapters, more of whenever they start a new work.

Agree with Ryu/Chizuru!
Yahiro and Megumi from Special A was the only thing that made me finish the series when the main couple started getting repetitive.
Namiki and Kaichou from Land of the Blindfolded were one of the first beta couples I ever rooted for.

I use allmangasreader too and it really shines for marathon reads of 100+chapters. Plus, the search function is great for looking for those hard-to-find scanlations. Definitely recommend it.
