This novel is outstanding. Not only will it suck you into the world immediately within the first few chapters, the action actually starts really soon. And there is a reason for all the fights.

The MC is reincarnated, but unlike Doulou Dalu, there is a reason for this reincarnation and it is actually important for the plot. (but that part is not translated yet, it's somewhere near chapter 280)

I think this novel is refined because the details are so important. Something which the MC gets early in the story will be useful way, way, way back in the story . I was really surprised when it was used again, since I've totally forgotten about it.

Also, this is certainly an 18+ novel. A lot of gore and adult sequences.

To be completely honest, this is just one of the many Xianxia web novels out there. Whether the story takes place in an Eastern setting or a Western setting, many Chinese web novels end up as some sort of "Xianxia". Yes, I'm also referring to those "zombie apocalypse with game elements". And Xianxia just gets old really really fast after reading a few of them. Btw, Xianxia basically means "Immortal Hero" and that's exactly what each of these web novels are about, the road to become an "Immortal Hero" aka some sort of God.

So, it's really nothing new but the author writes it really well. For starters, he has little typos. Not sure if he has an editor, but many authors do not and while some web novels are pretty good, they just have way too many typos that it gets annoying.

Disregarding the fact that it's a very vanilla type web novel, one of the best part about this is the protagonist's personality. Without any spoilers, he has attributes of a hero, anti-hero and a villain, which some other protagonists really lack.

The things this MC says and does in regards to his women really makes me laugh so hard. I am not sure if it is meant to be a comedy but he tickles my funny bone.

The story itself is brilliant. I agree with bakaleaf with his spoiler. The moment I read that chapter, I was sold 100%. Such a great read and I would recommend it to everyone.

The way this MC deals with all of his enemies is unique. He thoroughly torments them and makes them suffer in many ways. This is a guy you do not want to cross. Very, very unique in his revenge and warnings. This is not just a run of the mill 'destroy the whole sect because derp'. Not just psychical suffering, mental and financial. He will provide you with hope beyond belief just so that it is even more soul shattering for you to watch your hopes and dreams crumble in front of you.

most of the time in japanese novel you get A DENSE, inconsistent, unaware or dont know what to do, cowardly ,spineless, lucky, nice, pathetic, loser , pure innocent, misunderstanding ecchi situations mc which i really sicked of them. by far yun che is different kind. a rare kind. not only have an awesome dialouge interaction with the romance at the girls.it put in the right way. not your average wack or lame lines like you are beautiful or some lame cliche but instead he try undertsand the girls until to point from the girls start stupified by his unsual character turning it into attraction at him. my god it is marvelous. his revenge is not about just killing people but prefer make your life absolutely meaningless. buwahahahahaaha. his sense of moralty. it just awesome it is like if you treat him nice. he will treat you nicer tenfold but if you treat him bad. he will suffer you hundredfold. he is like the combination of lelouch + black jack + award oscar actor. also he has undying spirit which is umeasureable willpower. he treat the girls with great affection each one of them even the monster loli by far have better relationship than chufeng with eggy. one of my favourites

First off, my standpoint is that I read the translated chapter and the latest is at 90+ right now. I've read CD, MGA, Desolate Era, Stellar Transformation, so that's my comparison as standards for now (not yet ISSTH and BTTH, probably will update after reading for better comparison reference).

Good points:
MC is very likeable, he's the usual victim of bully and mockery because he was weak and useless, but after he powered up, he is not naive and can be ruthless only to the one that hurts him the most (not like MGA's MC that even kill the opponent's entire family, servant, etc) which is a nice sweet revenge feeling but also not over the common moral limit, and how he does it is better than MGA that only decapitate or behead enemies.

His flirts with the heroines are one of the best that I've ever seen (really fun to read, you will grin and giggle while reading it)

And the BEST POINT is that this is not just the usual weak MC get power up and beat 'em up plot, MC's a smart one and often play tricks on their opponent and this can be mind-blowing sometimes and is really fun to read. so yeah, it's not just the usual 'I hate you, I'm gonna beat you up' style.

I would rate this above Coiling Dragon because of the great romance part and the trickery part that CD lacks.

If you have read MGA and you say its story is good, this is as good as that (if not better), and the MC is much much much MUCH more likeable.

10/10 recommended, just try to read it until couple dozen chapters and you most likely will fall for this novel (it's not a slow start like CD)

Read up to RAW ch. 390.
MC is smart, well mannered but also ruthless to his enemies. The characters around the MC also has depths which is really nice. MC also got some actions with his harem which is very refreshing.
The author did a good job with the dialogues, fights are not too shounen-y with bunch of banters like MGA or you know, shounen mangas/novels. I'd say there are a lot of comedic situations mostly through smart dialogues.
Highly recommend while it's still very good.

I highly recommended to anyone who looking for something to read, and if you have read similar novels.
I really enjoy the characters development, and where the plot is heading.

Killing intent is one of the coolest ability a Main Character can wield, without it, MC is boring, or will become a spineless guy who only uses talk no jutsu to stall some time. Now to acquire this ability, one must kill several hundreds and thousands of people, the more people you kill, the purer your killing intent is, it is not an innate ability that you are born with it. I'm up to the current chapter got to say I am very satisfied with the it Mc is easily one of my favorite from chinese novels that I've read Mc is good Kinda Good guy type character but knows he is very flawed with the bad things he has does and doesn't try to justify the bad things he has done as good. The story good I'm really excited about where it's leading there are flaws here and there like some of the female cast don't really have personality. Volume 4 I'am really wanting to the encounter but he author keeps putting it off :[ .

Forgot to mention and sine no one else has mentioned it the reincarnation or transported to another world in my opinion is done well than most his past has impact besides just some skills ex, Douluo Dalu besides the fact that he has strong loyalty to tang clan and because curiosity and stole some thing and made it he committed suicide afterwards because of guilt we never find out why he has strong loyalty or anything of the sort i only read up to 76 but it didn't look like the his past life ws nothing more worth mentioning, CSG another besides cultivation technique same thing as DD. Instead you get to find out about his past and what happened actually matters it actually matters.
