Didn't have anything that could totally absorb me! I was dragged into that one right after first chapter.
Art, characters (i mean not annoying/boring) and plot are just how it should look like! I also like the felling of romance in it ;]
So if you have a time don't hesitate.... actually, you can try even if you don't have a time but i bet you will read it until the small hours .

I absolutely love this manga. It doesn't have the "wow" effect, and yes it does have cliches, but the way they were put together, for me is just great. The characters are really well developed and have a lot to offer more, so I will enjoy to see how they turn out in the end.
The art is just awesome. It was probably the first thing that drew me into the manga. Very well drawn and with exactly the right amount of detail needed.
I would recommend this manga, for anyone who would enjoy a sword swinging maniac and a cute little girl.

y are u guyz sayin this is "not like the other shojo", this is not shojo - it is the exact opposite - seinen. shojo is for teenage, high-school girls, seinen is for young adult males - college students. so obviously it would be different duh...

anyway, a very original manga is this. unique plot and story presented in an interesting, detailed fashion, with the added benefit of a nice art style. plot moves along at a good pace, and character development is decent. all in all, an original manga with much promise. but this is NOT shojo dammit!!!

The premise is incredibly simple but alluring. It's semi-realistic enough for you to believe its logic. Early on, even with little development, the side characters has enough depth and purpose to pull you in. Every character act according to how they were introduced or developed. However, after volume 10, everything starts to go haywire. Characters don't really act the way they were developed. Shallow side characters/villains are constantly introduced with the purpose of just providing shounen battles. Even worst, the MC goes from a purpose of fighting crime to a shallow character that's hell bent on "battle mania." It gets boring fast when all there is continous battle with little story.

Next, the pacifist ideal thing made sense in the beginning, where he has to subdue criminals instead of killing them. However, when that premise develops into "100 assassins always aiming to kill you," that ideal becomes illogical. It's perfectly legal/logical to kill someone in self-defense, especially against 100 assassins. However, the police and even MILITARY personnels are hell bent on "you're a MURDERER" even if you defend yourself. Come the fuck on. Really.

Incredibly disappointing but because I really liked the first 10 volumes, I'll give it a 9/10. However, after volume 10, it turned into a battle-fest mess --> I would say it went down to 6/10.

I love both Haruka and Mamoru and hope to see their development. Can not wait for them to get together... they are so cute >.>
I love the character development and how Haruka comes to handle herself, comparing the Haruka now and the Haruka from the first chapter... the difference is huge. She has become somewhat of a tactician and an awesome one at that,. I hope she continues to develop and Mamoru along with her. Mamoru seems a lot more human than in the past and I think it's because of Haruka.. gosh I just love the pair...
Anyways, give this manga a try!

There are a lot of reader who don't like recent plot. I enjoyed it though.

It started out unique (well as much as blind swordsmen could be) but slowly over the years it's become a shaggy dog story. It's a shame since it has nice art and somewhat varied cast of characters but it's plot is just completely nonsensical.

FWIW: I read from the beginning to until chapters 100+ so I've been with it for awhile. The battles remind me of DBZ as it's almost never the final boss form and we've had chapters of endless fights for w/e reasons for entire volumes.

Interesting plot, interesting character, nice art, full of epic action and sometimes there are also comedy and romance theme. What else do you expect from an action manga?

About the story, the guy is kinda like Neo in matrix use a kanata but anyway and like the idea of a blind swordman. The side characters is the same set as Hollywood hero movie, so there computer guys support a main character, a beautiful and strong woman, an independence captain, an outsider policeman... The idea is not new but it was built very well
