I gave this a 10 for all the entertainment it brought to me XD

Unlike those who found this manga utterly bad and dropped halfway, I read it till the end. I knew it's crap from day 1 but I have a habit of reading both epic manga and crappy ones. I read crappy ones for good laugh XD . Seriously, this series cracks me up to no end.

I couldn't get why some say this was Shinjo Mayu's worst work since to me, ALL OF HER WORKS ARE TRASH. They're all the same with the main girl who loves to be raped by her bastard boyfriend. Shinjo Mayu is messed up in the head. Who would fall in love with her rapist in reality? The way she portrays her protagonist is an insult to all women. What's with all those whiny, weak girls desperately waiting to be raped by their supposedly gorgeous boyfriends (while in fact, these guys are just abusive, twisted guys). And sorry but I can't even sympathize with Kurumi. I honestly think she's like a slut here. After she thinks she's dumped by Hakuron, she seeks comfort from Fuuron by sleeping with him? How shallow can she get? Don't even get me started on Hakuron. I guess there will be paranoid girls who think the way he treats her is totally romantic but no, it's downright disgusting. He rapes her over and over again. He humiliates her in front of lots of people. What kind of love is this?

The only one I like in this series is Foiron. I feel sad for him since he falls in love with an unworthy girl. I can't understand why there're many guys who love her: Foiron, Fuuron (yes people, it's implied that this guy does love her) and that kid who kills Hakuron (bravo!). The ending is supposed to be sad and touching but I was like this when I read it: =)) =)) =)). What a stupid ending. I guess after all that happens, Kurumi will hook up with all of the Dragons since they all kinda love/lust for her. That or we could have Haou Airen 2,3,4,5, each for 1 Dragon and they'll repeat the same crap over and over again.

Anyways, recommend for anyone who wants a good laugh at an unbelievably ridiculous manga <3

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
Everytime I want to read something trashy, I entertain myself by reading Shinjo Mayu's works. I thought that "Love Celeb" is her worst work but this manga has totally changed my mind. This was downright horrible, painful and disgusting to read.

I mean, the guy's the WORST rapist in all of her stories! Am I supposed to accept him as a "romantic" lead? AS IF. This is absolutely SICK. I am not at all convinced by their "love" with each other!

What bothered me the most is that this bastard even have the balls to go to a proper church wedding and marry his victim. THE HELL?!

I rejoiced though when the mangaka killed him in the end! But I'm pretty sure that the female lead (whose IQ is lower than a rabbit) is probably gonna get raped by the rest of the mafia. That cycle never ends.

Readers here is the list on what to expect when you read any of Mayu Shinjo's manga including this one:
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
1. Weak female lead who gets rape by either the main lead or other guys.
2.Forceful male lead whose lust is way over the top to the point of raping the girl he claim to love.
3.There's absolutely no character growth for both leads. The only thing that will grow is their sexual relationship.
4. Repetitive scenes. Ex. Girl gets kidnap or abuse every chapter.
5.Cliche situations... Ex. Kidnap, amnesia, suicide, betrayal and many more. Kudos to Shinjo Mayu for her expertise!
6. Last but not the least most of her works have happy endings with the exception of course of haou airen. Kudos to her for killing the biggest bastard in this story.

Overall Shinjo Mayu's work can't be taken seriously so just treat it as if your reading a light hentai manga.

*The art was good so I gave this manga a #2 rating.

it was a nice manga. i loved it from da begining, in some way it was annoying. i read the summary and genre so i knew it was gonna end badly. so throughout da whole series i kept on thinkin dat sumones gonna die but as it goes to da end, it seemed like it was a happily ever after. it was pretty messed up in some ways, made me sad.

I've got shivers down my spine too but for completely different reasons.

I love how Shinjo Mayu justified rapes and murder. But it's all fine if we do it out of love, right?
I also love how strong independent and smart female lead was and how Hakuron (male lead) was caring and respectable towards Kurumi, well he did love her so he must be all that, right?

And their relationship was an epitome of harmonious and healthy. Right? bigrazz

At first I thought it was okay. I mean it wasn't boring and stupid, but slowly it got really pathetic and disturbing. I can handle sex scenes... ONLY if it is out of love! I don't really like rape and in this manga there was a lot! I couldn't handle it and dropped it. I only got to like chapter 24 and I didn't want to read the whole thing because of how bad it was. If you like weak girls who get raped often then be my guest and read this but remember I warned you.

If you've ever read a Shinjo Mayu then you already know what to expect, if you haven't then you either love it or hate it. The sex is always hot and that's why it's such a guilty pleasure for smut fans. On the other hand don't expect a strong female lead or a gallant male lead, that's never the case. Kurumi gets hurt a lot thoughout the story while Hakuron is your typical bad guy that falls in love. Also if you're a masochist, you'll probably cry at the ending.

It started off just as a bad manga. But that's okay, I like bad mangas.

Then it stopped being bad. It became offensive. I felt angry when I read it. He raped her. No two goddamn ways about it, he raped her. Repeatedly. And the fact that the manga tries to excuse it with "oh no, she wanted it" is just sick.
Spoiler (highlight to view)
This is really the worst manga I have ever read.

EDIT: Now with bonus spoilers. I laughed myself sick at the end. Hakuron got just what he deserved. She should have hooked up with Foiron. At least he loved her and didn't feel the need to express it through abuse and rape.

Umm.... It's disturbing. Quite disturbing. But, hey. I was like, whatever. I'll read through it. I stopped at volume 7(?) because I didn't feel like reading the rest at that time. Then, I told myself I'd just wait for the rest to be scanlated, but... the "rest" never was. I mean, somebody might as well finish it. There isn't much left. But I do understand if nobody wants to scanlate it because they can't handle the extreme sex and rape stuff. Lol. Very understandable. I'm not really into the explicit sex scenes but I actually want to see what happens to the really stupid couple in the end. They're a really stupid couple. Or maybe she's just a really stupid girl... whatever. Oh, and all the "love" in this manga is through sex/rape. Mostly rape though. This is a manga pretty much about, yes, what the summary at the top says and sex. There's sex in every chapter in volume four.
Spoiler: In the first(?) chapter of volume four, it is stated that he "had" her many times for three nights in a row. Also that after her first time, there was blood all over her feet. Like, seriously gushing out... disturbing.
I'm waiting for it to be finished before I move from volume (i think) 7. It'll be a pity if it stops now... ^-^;
I guess I'm really tolerant...
But it is really extreme. Don't try it if you can't handle it. Really. DON'T.
A nice warning for all of you thinking about reading it.
One last thing... Shinju Mayu's manga isn't usually this explicit. Kaikan Phrase has a different feel to it, i guess. So does Ai Ore. I like them more. A lot more.

The story looked interesting, but as I read on it was nothing but twisted and disturbing. Kurumi is ANYTHING but heroic. How can a girl love someone who not only takes her away from her family, but constantly violates her? HOW CAN THIS BE LOVE? It's beyond me how anyone can call this romance. She absolutely has no self-respect! Also Hakuron, I don't find him 'handsome' at all! A man who loves a woman does not rape her and treats her like some slave..

I haven't read the ending yet, but I'm not planning to because it's way too twisted. If you're looking for a good romance/story, this is definitely not recommended.
