SHOCKING ENDING!

What an unfortunate ending.. really sad.

I find this manga really depressing but I still understand the situation by reading the whole story..
It's kinda draggy at beginning and its really sad that the heroine is the most pathetic and some what really naive/clueless.. but its understandable, though... hakuron is agressive and very forceful towards her I think he truely love her... hmmm.. there are lots of misuderstanding going on and also involve alot of people that want to tear them apart...

Also it has the proof that Hakuron really LOVES Kurumi.. he may done it in a demonic way but the feeling of protecting someone is stronger .. though he doesnt want to hurt Kurumi but for her sake he'll be the strongest man that can only protect her even it cost his life... (just like the endling)...

Really shoking story.. but thats how it ends.. at least he left something special for her (KITTEN=CAT)... even they are apart, as long as they think about each other and love each other... that only matters.. I think.... very corny and naive thoughts but it works only in manga world..

ah...wat theconfused i donno y but i had to finish it, if just to see how much more unbelievably the storyline could cross the boundary of sanity...i don get how she could love him, wouldn u wanna escape from that horrible man as soon as possibleconfused and him!! wat was up with thatconfused? how can he treat his 'precious woman' like that?? really? its way too unbelievable!!
all in all, this is one twisted plot! i wanted to scream at the girl to grow a backbone, a brain, and get a sense of self respect!!
there may be people out there who really like dis manga, i respect that even tho i dont personally understand it

How can ANYONE like this manga? What kind of a twisted mind (or lack of a mind entirely) must one have to enjoy such a plot? The heroine is among the most pathetic of her type that I've ever read about (excluding other Shinjo Mayu manga, of course), and the hero may be handsome in some way, but his attitude isn't even remotely attractive.

As to the people who think it's realistic and romantic, I have one thing to tell you: girls who get kidnapped by the mafia and then forced into sex do NOT fall in love with their captor, especially not after knowing them for a few hours. That is not a realistic romance, nor is it even romantic. That's sick and twisted, and I fail to see how anyone could fantasize about such a thing.

this story like all other shinjo mayu manga has a good story but she can't make the magic last. Kurumi is so annoying! Hakuron is a jerk and i find the ending fitting. It irritates me just thinking of how much Kurumi will go through for "love" and how much pain Hakuron put her through

i only read the first 5 volumes of this but it is really twisted. I wanna root for hakuran but then he does stuff that completely repulses me and the female lead isn't super developed she's just kind of there in my mind. why do they love each other so much? I dont get it...I still liked it though. Finished what I had in 1 sitting.

Rape DOES NOT = Love

For real... is this story meant for an audience of women?
As a woman, nothing in this appeals to me. The women are all either manipulative bi-atches or submissive wussies.
All the romance is defined by sex...
And almost all the sex is coerced... what the hell?
Since when is rape romantic?
I'm all for a little guilty pleasure, but outright rape and brutalization is not my idea of pleasure.
Why is Kurumi such a push-over? Some heroine...
She has no backbones, no will of her own.
Why does Hakuron love her so much? I don't get it. I REALLY don't.
And speaking of Hakuron... what a jerk! Ewwww... he's nothing but a cute face with a bad attitude. Son-of-a-B kidnaps the woman he loves, humiliates her, cheats on her, gives her away to his buddy (to "protect her") and rapes her so badly she could barely stand.
And yet she STILL LOVES HIM, willingly becomes his mistress after a pathetic show of resistance...pfff

uh... so yea... I don't like this manga...

Spoiler:
I heard they both die at the end...
tsk...a fitting end, I'd say.

MAFIA IN LOVE!!!

I've been looking for ages a story about bad men or rather so called bad men that are really nice, i like GOKUSEN cuz the heroine is a YAKUZA, but well its a shoujo type, and when i come across this one, GOD, IM IN LOVE!!!! Hakuron is the best, sexy, arrogant Mafia!!! Together with Kurumi... they have a good chemistry, the manga is good, very very good. and the story for every chapter truly will want you to be on the side of Hakuron...
Sure its DARK and DISTURBING, but i thank Mayu Shinjo for creating this one, cuz of its darkness, this is the REAL world after all. MAFIA do exist and so are the dark and disturb reality.
Good ART!!!

Good story but... distrubing

I read this manga once before and found the plot to be good but the events are highly distrubing. The entire atmosphere of the manga is very dark and sinister. Definitely not something to read when you are depressed.

I haven't read enough to give a proper rating, but I will say this is one strange and slightly disturbing manga. Hakuron's got a twisted personality and sense of love and er... ambition and Kurumi seems to be tottering around him, unable to resist such a strange set of events. It's just... way too bizarre to believe. I certainly don't think this manga is for me, anyhow.

Unrealistic to the point if no return.
The whole time I thought 'no one, but really no one would act like _that_'.
