The ReLife experiment gives you the ability to redo a part of your life after a critical setback. You get paid but you have to hide this secret from the rest of the world. ReLife is one of those webtoons that leaves you invigorated. It is a slice-of-life story that gives important implications about relationships and living in the present moment. One of my favorite aspects of this work is Sou Yayoi’s beautiful artwork. The drawings are immaculate and the mirage of colors illustrates extraordinary talent. But you should start this webtoon for the comedy if for nothing else. There are many comical moments that are well done and made me laugh unexpectedly!

This isn’t finished yet...it’s currently on chapter 152 and I honestly don’t know when it will be completed. But, I’m not anticipating anytime soon and if you enjoy realistic comics that give you happy feels and hope that there is more to life than a series of unfortunate events, then I highly recommend it! At least try the first few chapters and see how it goes.

ReLIFE tackles the rather serious topics of maturity, growing up, and ethics while maintaining a rather cheery veneer. Unlike other series in a similar vein though, ReLIFE has the quality of accessibility; a fun, poppy aesthetic coupled with a good sense of humour allows for the more mature discussions more palatable, while a full cast of rounded (if slightly caricatured) characters keep the manga fresh. Its execution is well-done, and the plot as a nice sense of balance as it heads towards a satisfying and rewarding ending without redundant fluff.

TL;DR - Very good. Handles mature topics in a way that makes it appealing to a very wide audience. Likable and fleshed-out characters.

It's a really good Slice Of Life manga.
Ignore the small stuffs about pills part and indulge in the fun.

It's not terrible. It does make me cringe at some parts, but that's not saying that much for the genre. It's an interesting take on high school, and I appreciate that it's told by someone who actually acts their age (even if he's in a kid's body). This plot device is more used than you would probably think, and I've seen supposed 20/30 somethings regress into kids emotionally and mentally. Thus far, that hasn't happened in this manga.
The protagonist at least attempts to be not swept away into the flow of things, and his take on the serious things is significant. I don't particularly like any of the other characters except maybe Kariu, who despite occasionally being annoying, is excused for her immaturity because of her age. Yoake has issues, yet attempts to give advice, and it's kind of painful to watch. Clueless girl is clueless. Clueless boy is clueless.
I'm torn between whether to strongly despise the serious (life advice) elements to this manga, or to appreciate them for their rarity. The problem is that the serious elements drag out humongous plot holes that even the premise can't magically solve. I like the backstory, but the backstory ruins the premise entirely: that he's a NEET chosen for an experiment.
Because, while yes, by definition, the MC is a NEET, he's not the traditionally socially-awkward, worthless, lacking major self-confidence NEET. He's pretty normal, has some baggage, and is struggling to maintain faith in how society runs through because of real-life experience. I think anyone who's lived long enough in the real world can relate to that. I just hate when the other characters, who seem to have way more difficult times juggling their own problems (which IMO, they handle miserably), seek to give him (sometimes terrible) life advice. It's painful. The MC's problems are things that can be 'solved' with a little more self-reflection and some positivity in his life. He's not so, forgive my language, ****ed up, that he needs this kind of premise, which is why this manga can be irritating to so many people. It's like, we finally get a competent MC for the trope, but the fact that he's competent ruins the story. That's more depressing than any plot development.
For now, this is a solid 4.5. It'll go down if there is a pairing for the MC with high school kid, because as we see in this manga, there's a huge (and I mean huge) maturity difference. Being a "pervert" is beside the point---I can't see the high school girls as more than children, and I can't see him forming a successful/balanced relationship with any of the potential love interests, and I'm at chapter 55. I get the whole, "she's cute" angle, but if there was any real attempt at making this a successful relationship, we would also get the, "she's pretty mature for her age" from the serious parts. But we don't.
In summary, this manga kind of funny in some spots, but it would be a stretch to call this manga good. I would recommend it to someone who specifically asked for certain tags, but to no one else. It's not something I would read unless I had time to burn.

When I first started reading ReLIFE, the premise was so sketchy that I almost didn't continue. A medicine that can turn you young? Having the neet protagonist return to high school to relive (and subsequently fix) his life? I'm not the only one who thought this was either going to go the dark horror route or the harem route, am I?

But, nah, ReLIFE is legitimately good after you get past that initial, "Are you really using this type of setup?" It's a feel-good, slice-of-life, coming-of-age story about youth! And friendship! In other words: expect lots of heartwarm. And character development!

I have mixed feelings about the romance though (the romance for the main character), though the mangaka takes pains not to romanticize it (at least, not too much) or ignore the squick factor, which is nice. My only concern is that I'm worried about how it'll turn out, but the resolutions of the other conflicts were nicely done, so I'm not too worried.

Overall, if you're interested in a sweet, heartwarming coming-of-age story, ReLIFE slots nicely into that genre. If you're not interested, ReLIFE isn't so good that it'll change your mind either. What you see is kind of what you get.

edit: OK, so the mangaka has fixed the squick factor of the romance in probably what is the only way to fix it with zero squick factor left. Overall, I believe it's a good move in that sense, but as a narrative device, it ends up a bit unwieldy, even as the readers realize that the mangaka has been setting up this particular resolution for a while. I'm definitely still enjoying how further developments are unveiling from this revelation, though. And I'm continually impressed with the fact that the conflicts occur so organically, coming naturally from the person's personality, past actions, and interactions with other characters.

Definitely a worthwhile read if you want something with realistic interpersonal drama.

It has good story. Of course I admit I got hooked with it's comedy premise at early chapters, but remember this is a drama of high school life with ups and downs and heartwarming moments.

There may be many girls in this story, but it's apparent that the MC is only thinking of one girl, and the other one is just teasing him. Maybe you had too much harem manga and anime to instantly assume this webcomic as a harem.

Yeah the main character meets a high school girls but its not like most harem mangas where the girls throw themselves at him and hes like blushing every time ://O
He kinda has eyes for one girl, and hes mature and funny too. DD

Started out fun, but soon after actually becoming good as described by other commenter's the series got stuck in a downward spiral of depressing happenstances and character interaction.
I'll give this some more chapters before dropping it for good.

I love this story. The MC is funny, insightful, and the supporting characters are interesting.
The story is about a 28 year old man who has become NEET, or at least those around him see him as one. He quit his last job in such a way that he can get hired at the next one. He becomes a involved in a experiment to let him relive HS and hopefully learn something from it. As the story progresses the MC helps those around him, learns not to give up, has crushes, and learns life lessons again. The supporting characters also change and grow. I know some complained of the pacing of this story,but I disagree. The characters are growing and changing. I will say this about the story it is written in a Web Manga style. Which means if you read it on a wesbsite that does not have a continuously scrolling page then you will see cut off text and art work. However since it is a web manga you get full color pages.

Until then its badly paced with insignificant character and plot progression.

But man, chapters 50-51 show that our MC is surprisingly mature, for somone in a harem manga this is a godsend. I finally have high hopes for this manga lets hope the mangaka doesnt dissapoint
