Plot Analysis
The novel focus on the storyline based on devil/angels and much more as the story goes. Each volume just bring you more into the world of the novel and let u attracted to it. The story goes with first person view of the world.
Character Development
There is much developing in the main character as well as the character revolves in the story. (Unlike some of the novel/manga story plot only the main char grown significantly.)
The main character worth is proven at the beginning and this keep the story goes on.
Personal comments
The content can keep the reader entertained for hours as it allow the reader to relax and have a great laughter time. Interesting facts and twist in the plot never let me as the reader down. It goes beyond your expectation as from the result. The main character is true to himself and never tends to hide any motive he got.

I do not remember the last time i enjoyed reading a novel so much. Isse its my fkng hero, but he just need a little courage regarding his intentions on making his harem and he is extremely dense but he rulz... while reading some situations i found my self smiling and laughting without realising.

For those who enjoy ecchi moments, comedy and romance this reading will be extremely pleasing to you.

HSDxD Oppais everwhere!

High School DxD is a novel that regardless of complexity or appeal is a well thought novel. The novel is mostly marketed toward guys but occasionally you'll get the BL moment or two. Regardless of how you compare the novel the author put a lot of work in developing the characters. The word oppai is word of day any day in high school DxD. Of if you don't like boobs don't read this novel.

The short? Bring in a main character with the power to strip any girl naked or read a female's inner breast's thoughts and you have our main character. Lust is what gives him power to the point in which he started to make his partner cry. Bring in biblical references, hindu gods, greek myths, chinese myths, dragons and any other mythical beings and you'll have the powerhouses in the story. You'll meet a crimson beauty who turns out to be out protagonist's #1. A japanese beauty who wouldn't mind being his #3 in the beginning and a nun who recently became a devil. A loli who is actually a cat-girl and his arch-nemesis a pretty who he hates because of his good looks. Its a story of a typical high schooler who has too much lust. A story that could of flopped, but didn't. A story that seems like it would cross the border between ecchi and hentai, but never reaches that point. A story of love, action, death, breasts, dragons, beautiful women, and more breasts. And the best part? The author guaranteed a good ending for all the girls (Despite trolling his readers time and time again... mil-tan..).

@Yama San i can't believe you even said that. The translation is quite bad? The whole project was started from one person who devoted their spare time to translating the novel. If its so bad you should probably stop reading it. If you want something eloquent read plato. People translate for free during their spare time and this is on baka-tsuki unless you've done something for this community i wouldn't be criticizing others.

Despite its cliches, childishness, and the fact that just about every single character is a recycled stereotype, it still manages to be an enjoyable read, provided you can manage to accept its gaping flaws.

Warning: The translation is quite bad. Understandable? Yes. Eloquent? No.

EDIT: @FriedTofus - My comment about its translation was a mere "I calls em as I sees em" statement. Whether or not he put in a lot of effort in it by him/herself (which I commend him/her for) it doesn't take away from from its lack of flow in dialogue, general grammatical, spelling, and punctuation mistakes. Although, for a single person who learned english as a non-native language, s/he's done a good job.
Though I'll admit it was partly my fault for saying it in a rough way, there's not really a reason to get so offended by it.
