I must agree that there is not a lot of character depth, but I liked how Sei and Ran gathered allies over the 5 volumes. For satisfying my graving for gender-bender and some action this was quite alright. Ran and Sei appear very even-tempered but for graver situations, and their feelings don't come over very well.
I give this a 10 because I started to read it without any expectations and thus could enjoy this story together with some of my favourite music.

Hana no Kishi had potential and the thing i hate the most is when a great manga finishes in it's most crucial moments, it seems the mangaka had some urgent things to do because obviously the ending was so rush, I didn't even see it coming.

Like everyone else I didn't really like the ending. I felt the ending was rush, the manga from the beginning had great potential but somehow lost it towards the end. Maybe a little more about how everything came together and then ending it would of been a good way to put an end to a good series, but it's just me.
it was a nice story over all. i would of liked to of seen a bit more to happen though. it does say she launches her plan after leaving the school but i would of liked to see a little or at least them getting together since it was said theyd wait for each other after the whole plan was over and such. and if the bro and the head chick get together in the end. but over all i enjoyed this story.
Hmm...I like the story. Although there are some parts that are cliched, the plot is still great. You can see the growth of the characters and they will give you a very deep impression. At least that is how it is for me. The only thing I don't like is the ending. It is very abrupt. Like the author got bored with her work and just decided to end it. Yep! you read that right. This manga is finished. 
The story was great I have to admit that.
The real problem is that you get hyped up for the best part with all the risks with the family and then BAM!! The author delivers the killing blow by suddenly shutting down the manga....

The whole story plot is okay, with a little twist of there and there. However, one thing that I detest about it was the ending. It's totally ridiculous, I mean like, I wanna see Ran with long hair and a wedding gown marrying Ibara, or even double marriage on Ran x Ibara and Sei x Rin marrying on the same day. >_> the ending totally ruined it.
At first I had high ratings for this so therefore I setted a high standard. But now after seeing the last chapter, I was highly disappointed. WTF is wrong with the author? Why did she had to rush such a good manga?! For those who wish to see Ran wearing a dress and get marry, I will say that you will be angry as well.

Because It doesn't involve:
*boy dorms *Love triangles *ex girlfriends.
xD it's NOT CLICHE (for those who care about cliche, I for one, wouldn't care if it was c: )!

No. Just no. This manga is what you expect of a typical cliched shoujo gender bender manga with some vague "I trust my allies, nothing can go wrong themes." Ran and Sei are too good to be true and pretty one-dimensional characters.
As far as love-interests go, Ibara is your typical good looking, get out of mess and make bigger ones kind of person and Rin seems pretty disposable to me.
Art is great but slightly over the top.
