Why was Takamiya attacked, who asked Kagari to protect him, why does she refer to him as "my princess" and what is her fan club going to do to him now that she will be close to him openly?

This manga deserves the lowest score I've ever given manga, but I'm probably just upset that this manga does very little to redeem itself. Everything about this manga is presented with this non-chiseled rawness. It's almost like there was no editors behind the scene to guide the mangaka in creating a manga people would like to read. Two-dimensional characters and slow story advancement makes it a chore to finish a chapter; and worse, at no point is there any form of hook to draw in readers, even if it must resort to lowly nudity.
I don't like weak main characters, but I also abhor overpowered leads; and unfortunately, this series has both. While the manga itself is chock full of action sequences, the fights themselves are dull and boring, usually involving big elaborate flames changing shapes into various star-shaped explosions or blazes that pretty much end with the enemies lying on the ground.
Speaking of bad guys, I can't take these half-assed jokers seriously. They're inconsistent in their behaviors and personality, and for the most part just act stupid for no reason. Case in point, in chapter 4, a tower witch is helping a lost girl find her parents at the mall, then immediately does a 180-degree personality swap when she encounters the male protagonist and smacks her out of her hand. What was the point in pretending to be nice, or was it part of the cover she cooked up for reconnaissance? Except, that she was honestly surprised to discover the male lead in the mall and therefore that explanation loses all validity.
Sometimes it's the little things that make or break a manga, and this mangaka needs some help in areas.

is that it doesn't take itself seriously. So it's okay if all the antagonists blend together in your head. I'm not even sure if there's a plot, or a point to the plot, but the manga doesn't either... so oh well!

Development of the main character is so glacial I want to punch someone in the throat. The artwork is actually good. Haven't read the absolutely latest chapter (20) but everything before hand and its pretty much been the MC being kinda pathetic. He isn't a idiot but really there isn't anything too redeeming about him.

Weak male lead

Warning, some minor spoilers: Why make a Mary Sue female lead, and then a male lead who has poor grades and is pathetic in every way? What is the attraction to making weak male leads in these kinds of manga? What annoys me most of all is that everybody around the male lead decided to keep his power a secret from him so that he could live a 'normal life'. If I had magical power, and everybody arbitrarily decided that they would keep me in the dark about it, I would be pissed at all of them. I can't possibly relate to the male lead who seems to not be bothered by the fact that everybody decided to deny him power.

well don't take this manga seriously and expect too much of it
but it has funny moments and twists and avert some clichés and tropes
so what if witchcraft is sufficently advanced science? and it works too ?

granted i only read 3 chapters...but those 3 are just too average i cant stand it! theres nothing that keep me interested, no the character, the plot, the art....i couldnt even hate it, it is just damn boring and safe. i think this is okay for people that read manga sparingly but for manga addict, this just wont do.
idea is an old one, but execution is well done

The gender reversal isn't a new idea, but neither is it one that's well executed in other mangas. Too often does the weak male have few redeeming qualities, and too often is the strong girl hopelessly lovestruck. Takamiya, our male protagonist, may be physically weak, but he's not a douche bag like other male leads; he's thoughtful, kind, and caring. He realizes his deficiencies and rather than wallowing in depression, he tries to proactively make up for them. Kagari, on the other hand, may seem like a stereotypical silent and strong character, but she's much more than that. They make a really great pair.
Also, the art and humor are really well done. I totally cracked up when Kagari called Takamiya "my princess", and I love Takamiya's reactions to the things Kagari does. All in all, a nice read that's done well with an idea that's often executed horribly.

Fun Manga w/ Interesting Characters

The male lead isn't strong, but all things considered I think is portrayed acting in a manner that an average guy might act.
The female lead hasn't been really fleshed-out yet. Making her stoic with so many outstanding characteristics and no real defects dose make her less interesting. However there are some hints that the author may be going the rout of slowly introducing a more complex character, rather then one that can be described in 2-3 words.
The other supporting characters haven't been given much time yet, but they all look to add some rather interesting flavor to the series.
I really like the art style in depicting the magic and it's design.
Rating: 4 of 5 (as of ch11)
A rather fun manga so far. With some further development, and if the magic doesn't feel too Deus ex Machina, then I can see this being a 5 star manga.
