I loved the basic plot..it was diffrent then all the other overrated manga's ive read! and i LOVE how they play music and THE ARTWORK WAS AWSUMMMMMM!!

not that grate i guess plus it seemed like they never changes years of the school even though it had many months pass they all stayed in the same school year and also same with there age
and when they said 2 years later where Akira should have been about i guess 17 was only 16, though before in the beginning they said Akira was 15.

anyway if u have nothing to read or do and like music piano stuff i guess u can give this a try the romance was ok too.

I really wanted to start reading this manga because the art work is very beautiful, and the story line seemed interesting. Firstly, I'm surprised that he comes out very quickly, and the rest seems as fillers for her to reply. It doesn't have much action and was very boring.

This is a great shoujo piece where the age difference between the two main characters is not a problem at all. The incorporation of music gives the manga elegance and I really like how Takami and Akira support each other.

this is one of my favorites. ^_^ it's so good and it just keeps getting better and better. the art is beautiful and the characters' personalities are well done... takami is very tomboy-ish which is a good contrast from the usual cutesy girl. and akira is well... <33 you'll have to read to see!! (:

ok. im definately a shoujo FINATIC so, i read lots of these mangas. but, gotta say, this one is probably on the top of my list. the art is exquisite, the plot is about music, so, it's kinda different, and the "heroine" doesn't annoy the heck out of you. i love this manga and can't wait to read more. its a must read!

This is my favorite Shoujo manga ever! I like the fact that the main character (the girl) isn't one of those cry babies that I see in MANY shoujo mangas. Takumi might be a tomboy but once she dresses up she's actually really pretty. And of coarse Akira that character is gorgeous and so welldrawn ^0^. Can't wait for the next chapter! The plot is awesome too.

This isn't exactly a spectacular manga in my eyes, but I admit that I enjoyed it a lot. The two main characters have good chemistry and good personalities, and the pace is more or less just right - it doesn't slump somewhere in the middle and it doesn't rush them into a relationship.

For those of you who have read and liked Special A, this may be for you. I noticed quite a few similarities between the two - Takami is tough and energetic like SA's Hikari (although a little less clueless), and Akira resembles Kei, although he's not such an all-around genius. In fact I kind of thought this story was a bit like a much-toned-down, less exaggerated and hectic Special A. Not that I think it's a copy; it has its own original nuances, and I like the way it focuses a lot more on the two centre characters instead of expanding to include many minor ones, which I think Special A did a bit too often.

It's fun, easy-sailing manga for anyone who likes this genre. I recommend it.

the heroine isn't a push over and the guy isn't one either. they're totally opposites. the art is also really good. i love how it involves music!

Well, I agree with amaranthine. And the music aspect of it was a little forced, and I ended up not caring much about how good or how much either of the protagonists progressed with their piano-playing skills.
