Description
Long ago, in an epic battle of might, King Phelios defeated the Vampire King Duzell. And as both lay dying, Duzell swore that his reincarnation would find King Phelios' reincarnation and exact his revenge. A hundred years later, the moment of reincarnation has arrived...the only problem is that Duzell has been reincarnated as a harmless house cat. And to add to his frustration, he can't find the reincarnation of King Phelios. Luckily, he has been adopted by Phelios' granddaughter, the teenage princess Ishtar, through whom Duzell may be able to track down who in the Phelios tribe is host...

If you're looking for a fun, light read, this is it (gets a little dark, but mostly stays comical).
Love the characters, theyr'e the best thing about this series. The main protagonist's character is very likable, even if she is a bratty little princess. Duzzie gets extra love for being an adorable little kitty. Despite his evil vendetta you'll fall for his cuteness. I don't usually go for vampire manga, but this one doesn't take itself too seriously and it works.

I second nightcrawler103's comments. One of my main drive for the series is definitely Princess Ishtar. She has a strong, somewhat spontaneous, yet sarcastic personality. Think of an elegant (physically) princess with a dirty mouth, yet cares for those around her in Ishtar's own ways. Kyawl!Duzzie is love as well, and it's great to see how he slowly softens and look after Ishtar. A touch of shounen-ai here and there, but it doesn't disturb the plot. One of my favorite manga series.
I love this series. One of best vampire manga I've ever read. It has good plot and twisting. I love Esther's personality. She's strong and smart; also good on judging others' characters. She's a queen, and she realized it perfectly. She's the main reason I love this manga ^^
A very interesting and funny manga, it has great art since it was created in 1996, and an interesting plot and storyline that hooks you in and makes you want to read page after page. Duzell is really cute as a wildcat, i want a plushie of him >.<
I've actually just started buying this manga series, since it's released like 12 volumes, and it's pretty good. Ishtar is pretty hilarious - a very typical pampered princess - and somehow, even Duzell is pretty amazed by her. The plot isn't bad, and the drawings are okay too. It's definitely worth reading ;)
