I've stumbled onto this manga quite a while ago but I've never really cared for it because let's admit, there's nothing too spectacular about the summary. The actual story, however, is quite the opposite. It's one of the mangas that pulls you through each time, and you can't seem to stop clicking 'next'. The thing that I like about this manga is that it's not really complex, quite simple actually, but it's not too predictable. All in all, I really enjoyed this series.

Although there were times when I was really unsatisfied with the couples.. but whatever, I sucked it up and realized that the ending was fitting and had to be done..
Forget the Summary, MUST Read

The summary definitely doesn't do this manga justice. When I read the summary, I didn't feel like reading it at all. Only boredom made me start. And I didn't stop until I finished it. At 4 am. The characters are engaging, and the character development was unbelievable. I loved how it ended, though there do seem to be questions that remain unanswered. However, I feel like it fits with the flow of the story. Overall, it was a fantastic read. Definitely one to keep and reread.

I skipped over this manga a number of times for more excitng sounding mangas, but I regret doing so now. After reading the description I wasn't sure what to think. Truthfully, I couldn't understand why people praised it so much; it sounded plain and downcast. After finishing the series, I count myself among those who were drawn in by Keito's emotional journey to rediscovering herself.
I will most certainly be drawn in to reading Cat Street a few more times in the future.
BTW, I'm surprised that it's by the same author as HYD.

I was shocked at who Keito ultimately ends up with in the end. But I was hoping for them to be a pair.

I liked many things about this manga, except that it was a bit slow at the beginning.
This manga can actually teach you things that you may encounter in real life, like how to fight for yourself, stop blaming others for your own failures.. so on and so on! it reminded me of my own experiences in life and wished i had done the same. its not too melodramatic either but it does know how to deliver you drama without your heart being torn out.
i highly recommend this story, its very lighthearted

This was a fantastic story. I've been putting off reading it because I didn't care much for the summary, and I personally haven't been very impressed by the author's other works, but it was really great, and I felt very close to all of the characters.
I think part of the reason was that the cast of characters were all introduced very early on in the story, and it remained the same until the end. Supporting characters came and went, but the main characters were always there. It was a well paced, sweet read, and I'm glad I read it.

It was a nice series. Nothing too fanciful or melodramatic. The drama is lighthearted, the romances don't end up being too corny like other shoujo series, and in the end it evokes a melancholic feeling, urging people to stop blaming things and take control of their life. You'll have to fight for your own happiness, and keep your friends close.
Nothing specific to complain about. It was a pleasant read.

I really liked this story. Every time I read a chapter, I ended up getting surprised by the main character's choices. Truth be told, I found it difficult who ends up with who, since I usually figure it out in the 1st volume. It's a nice, romantic story and definitely recommended. It doesn't have much drama and it's has it comedy moments. xD

The way he is just direct to da point is absolutely awesome. Loved it wen he said NO strait to a famous actress to protect his friend!! the way the friends protect eachother dat is da best part of this manga. reallu aktuli showz the importance of friendship and wat true friendship is

Cat Street is like... whoa! Amazing. Lately, I've been reading lots of one shots. Good thing I finally decided to read this manga. As expected from Kamio Yoko sensei. Wow. It was a nice ride.
The problem now is how to find a new manga to read after this one.
By the way, I can't believe the jdorama's only 6 episodes!!!

The heroine is great. I love the way she behaves. Her personality is so down-to-earth and strong. I love this kind of heroine. She 's not weak and stupid or violent and rough... Her strength comes from within. The mangaka really developed her character well.

The ending was GREAT! It was a HAPPY ENDING for all. I am soooo satisfied. So many mangas these days have crappy, sad endings so it is actually refreshing to read something like this that actually has a happy ending. I love it.
