Good at first

I initially liked this manga. Though the beginning arc got old pretty quick. After a bit it got to be tiresome and stale. Then Zero's arc came about, but when that ended, the story quickly became boring.
Spoiler (highlight to view)
When Rei showed up, I was like wtf. What about Zero! Forget this Rei kid. After awhile the story just became tiresome. They should have ended the story 10 volumes ago with Zeros death, or shortly thereafter. Continuing it doesn't improve the story at all.

Its not a bad manga, but it could have been a lot better. Not really worth the read.

So Kurohime goes to the past to save Zero cause she loves him.. That's cool and what not, but now she's hooked one Rei wtf? Unless Rei turns out to be Zero or someshit in the future it's gonna be like sibling rivalry over who can make Kurhime their lover.

As I suspected... first 8 chapters exist to help you become familiar with the characters. The main plot doesn't advance much over those 8 chapters. (The author should probably have come up better material for this period, but he didn't, so as a result people complained that this story was repetitive and formulaic.) Chapter 9 onward become more serious. A lot of important developments already, and there are only 14 chapters total scanlated. In Japan there are 14 volumes out o.o It's difficult to see where it will lead plot-wise (even more so character-wise) but I'm reminded a lot of Angel Sanctuary.

So yeah, like a ton of shounen, it starts out somewhat episodic and picks up and starts to become epic. I honestly really like it. If you don't mind that relatively little has been scanlated so far, check it out!

The first few volumes were somewhat a bore to plug through, but it picks up at a shocking rating around the middle of volume 3. I wonder if we'll see enough of it to ascertain if it redeems its somewhat mediocre start.

i first read this manga as a guilty pleasure. The random cliches and plot that dealt with the two main characters provided a mediocre story that was interesting during the time i read it. And like always even though its repetitive i kept on reading to find out what would happen. At times like this i thank god that mangas like naruto and bleach although repetitive and irritating dont turn out to be like kurohime. The author "adds" in pointless random storylines and characters most likey because he wanted to milk what ever money he could get at. More than half of the volumes were wasted on 100 page fights that were meaningless too the plot. Im surprised its still running. At least mangas like one piece are long for a reason.

Story = Unigue ( 7 ), sorcerer/witch with a gun and not stick
Art = so-so ( 6 )
Platform = Magic, Magic Crime (Ghost Sweeper Mikami for best reference)
Char. Devp = ( 5 )

IMO, its trying to be rival of GS Mikami. But failed, cause for creating a new type of the world it need strong development on the background of that world first THEN the main story.

And it's not even funny.

sorry....i lost interest in this. The way they axed one of the main protagonists wasn't to my liking.
He dissapeared for the rest of the show after chapter 10 or so?...It was also quite patronising to see someone else try and take his position on top of that.
Bleh, the main lead changed into this girly person who is in touch with her emotions? Thats not why i started reading, I didn't want to see that till the very end or for a very long time.

Just bad charactor change..And then axe a charactor who just made his name...Bleh.

i got interested in this manga for awhile,i really like the 1st arc,
i like the main hero,forgot his name.

but then,when the story advance to the 2nd arc i get dissapointed,because the only reason i read this manga is because the main hero is cool/good man,and then comes the 2-rate hero that lookalike a samurai,i dont like that character, really...

after seeing more chapter i really drop this manga,but if the main heroine adventure with the Really CooL Hero with his Lightning Shoot with 4 guns again,then i will surely read this manga again....

I started reading this manga a couple months ago and dropped it when i didn't see any development, got really bored one day and started reading it again, some where around chapter 12 a brick flew out of my monitor and struck me in the face for dropping it the first time. It gets really good, the characters start developing nicely and it is now one of my favorite mangas.

"story is generic"??!! wtf....
only generic thing about this is that a guy falls for a girl, and it would be weird if that didnt happen considering this is a manga has a romance tag/plot/whatever. but other than that this is a really legit story. the male protagonist is a straight up GANGSTER, who speaks his mind and rocks out with his cock out all day long. which is refreshing compared too the "soft spoken jap pansy" male lead that is common manga and is extremely bothersome. not only that but the female lead (which kind of seems generic at first) has some serious and surprising depth once you get a few chapters in.

end of story, great read. read it
