This series is going nowhere! Why is there no character/relationship development at all? It's been 20+ volumes and I'm still reading the same jokes over and over again... common now, give us something!

i really love this one!! actually im just like the others, watched the series then followed with the manga but the manga is wayyyyy better, i mean wayyyyyyy better!! the thing that i love about it is that even though it doesn't have that much action or romance (well, sometimes....) in it, it entertains you with its mind blowing humor!!! i also love the characters, they are all balanced, you have the serious type, playboy, childish, gangster-like and gothic!!! 2 THUMBS UP!! a definite must read for all the comedy lovers out there!!!

i used to love this but now not so much actually i was just on my way to toss this one in the Unfinished List. i gave it one last try and to no avail, still the same repetitive dialogues, same expressions, same. same. same. i do noticed though that in some angles Sunako looks a bit like Beyonce but that's just probably me. just update me when Sunako and Kyohei do the frickle frackle or whatever. im getting too old for this.

what can i say about his amazing series?
the heorine is very, and i mean VERY different from your typical shoujo character. she's awesome and she kicks but!
the humor is really good...and the other characters are also really cool and different from each other
i think the romance is going a bit slow and i'm really anticipating it!

it's just not your typical shoujo...just one of the best!

Really surprising manga. From the description I expected something much more cliched, but, mostly thanks to Sunako, it isn't so bad. It's mostly a comedy, with ocasional elements of romance thrown in for good measure. Drama? What drama? The biggest strength of the series is Sunako, the main heroine. I thought that she would be one of those "hidden beauties" so common in romance fiction everywhere... And to a degree, she is. But the difference is, Sunako doesn't care about being beautiful. She didn't care in volume one, and she still doesn't by volume twenty. And her contact with romance is pretty much limited to getting a nosebleed every so often. That doesn't change the fact that she is a pretty intense character, only the things she cares about are a wee bit different than those of "normal" people. Other characters are decent too, each with his own personality.
About the art... Girls are okay, but main male characters are sometimes bishified to a level when they start resembling some kind of alien... Well I've seen worse anyway. One thing that annoys me: If Sunako would appear as a chibi about ten times less then now, then the manga would be 100% better... As is it now it seems like cutting corners by a lazy mangaka, and I don't like that.
To the people who would like it to end: What's so great about ending? It isn't a serious manga, it doesn't care about the story structure, or even coherent narrative at times. The ending will not suddenly make it complete and perfect masterpiece. There still are people who enjoy reading it as it is, and if you don't, you can stop anytime.

I know that there are some people who want this to go on FOREVER, but really, I want it to end. Seriously, if you have read most of this, then you can probably guess correctly what will happen at the end of the chapter. Every joke is similar and overused. I liked the characters and storyline, but...

Personally I thought the first few chapters were pretty good. But then the plot continued to drag on and on over and over, with repetitive jokes and no character development. Sunako and Kyouhei will most likely not get together because for being together for so long, there really hasn't been a show of any feelings for each other. If they do, well.....everything's already gone downhill, what else can I say for this series? It'll become like Inuyasha soon enough...

At first I think id label it my favorite manga.... I really like the plot and think its funny. Tho I think the down side of the story is that it drags it out a bit too long making it repetitive. The art is absolutely gorgeous.... Tho towards volume 10 i think the art gets a bit rushed. Otherwise I love this story to bits!!!! Really hoping for a sunaxkyo ending..If it doesn't imma b soooo depressed.. Absolutely hate it when I finish reading a volume and have 2 wait 4 a update... I hope it ends soon but at the same time i don't want it to end...TT^TT

I swear, this series is proboably the best I have ever read! The main character is not one of those crybaby, dramatic, way-too-pretty and stupid weak bullshit girl characters but a goth loner who doesn't give a crap about love (which is original and awesome)!!! I respect the fact that she's mostly a chibi character that reverts to her original form during development moments, but there is just a few flaws. The boys are WAY too femenine and are pretty big drama queens that cry for the dumbest reasons and even have a few gay moments with eachother. I'm just glad that Sunako might end up with the most manliest of them all, Kyohei. Another problem is the fact that the manga-ka couldn't stop complaining in the extras. She's always being a very sad-sack who couldn't say anything positive about her work. An lately, Sunako has not been getting any attention in the chapters. It's lately only about the boys and their own problems. I mean, in book 12 or something Yuki took over two whole chapters with his girlish problems and crybaby emo moments, leaving Sunako alone in the darkness that they have to work hard to get her out of (it's as if the author forgot who the main character was). And Takenaga and Noi: WE GET IT. THEY LOVE EACHOTHER AND NOW THEY ARE TOGETHER. WE DON'T NEED ANYMORE CHAPTER BASED ON THEM! Where is Kyohei and Sunako? Screw the "already couple", screw the "little whiner with zero confidence in him/herself", and screw the "pop-diva prince". WE WAN'T THE BISHI AND THE GOTH TOGETHER!!!! But aside from those controversies, this series is the only manga series that's actually been able to make me laugh out loud. The comedy is extremely fresh and the plot is perfect for this kind of genre. It's also very surprising in many parts and I'm always looking foreward to the misadventures of Sunako and the "Creatures of the Light". Read it. You'll adore it. I know you will ^_^

I like the series but I dislike how Sunako is almost always in a chibi style Also, whenever theirs KyoheiXSunako moments she always ruins it by nose bleeds I think thats mostly annoying not funny. But the manga itself is pretty good I wish the manga-ka would stick to the real plot not just little episodes

I'm realy beginnibg to wonder wether Kyouhei and Sunako are gonna be a couple... I mean some hints and accidents did point out the possibility, But there's NO developement. It's as if they(characters) are in stand still. Yeah, sure, this is a comedy, But it's a LOVE COMEDY! Sooner or later some things have to change, and damn, I don't want to see some crappy hurried ending without definite conclusion.
I like the style, I like the art, but I'm worried about one of my favs going nowhere.
