I almost skipped this one after reading three chapters because I thought the drawings were crappy and I didn't really like any of the characters. But because of the good rating I felt obligated to at least read some more chapters before I decide. After completing volume 2 I started to to think this was kind of interesting and I got used to the drawings, too. I am now almost finished with volume 4 and in my opinion the manga got more interesting with every volume. It is now definitely one of my favorites.

I tried to wait until more of this series was released, but I just couldn't! The plot for this is amazing! It's an incredibly original and unique series. Also, there are always, always twists to the storyline. I just finished Chapter 41. Why did they have to end it at such a gripping cliffhanger??!!

Well I don't usually leave review on public site but I made this exception for 7seeds.
- In general: just finished volume 14, I guess it's far enough to say that this manga is very great.Through out the long run, it keeps getting better and better (which it's rare 'cause lots of series go downhill fast) It's very dramatic at times, but I still found it enjoyable. Tamura did a great job with balance story details, one of the reasons why I like 7seeds more than her previous work, Basara.
- The plot: the idea is novel worthy and stand out in so many ways, even the message 7seeds' carring is very different too. It may started off little slow but it needs time to get details sharpen. Tamura is story-wise master, which she proved by Basara, but I'm still amazed at her knowledge on this one, every little things she wrote has some meanings with it, you must read through carefully or you'll miss it. The humor in 7seeds is very subtle, and charming too.

- The characters: good story comes along with good characters, of course. Though it has many characters, they're still be able to stand out in their own personality. btw, the characters connection in 7seeds rules!

- The art: not something I really care, but even if you don't like it at first, you'll get used to it though.

My overall rating is 9.5/10, but I may change it in future since it's not going to end anytime soon, and believe me, I'm at volume 14 and still clueless about the ending, way too unpredictable.

Art maybe somewhat of a distaste for some, but it'll grow on you as you read along. Pacing of the story's well done, and its depth in portraying the different characters' background and development on equal allotment are its greatest strength. Read thoroughly and you shall not be disappointed

I've read more than thousands of manga and this is the one and only one that touches me as much. The depth and complexity of the story stocked me! Some say that the art work wasn't that great but I think that each character's face and expression delivers exactly how they feel, you can feel their sorrow by looking at their eyes. This is not a romance story from a soap opera or a Cinderella type fairy tale but it is a sincere and logic work.

Even though the story included lots of characters and complicated relationships but it doesn’t affect her ideas and presentation. Each section of the story is cleverly linked together.

I am already reading Vol 12 (of course in chinese) and I would like to included some spoiler for the ones who had waited too long and wants to know where the story is heading but I didn't know how to put it in a spoiler box..

i've been reading manga for nearly almost 8 years now (wow long time) and mangas with a good plot are hard to come by...however, tamura yumi-sensei has never failed me. basara was 5 stars and i'm really enjoying 7 seeds...her ideas are novel and she unfolds the story at a good and steady pace. some ppl don't like the art...but it's really not "that" ugly. it's unique and it starts to grow on you after a while.

now that storm in heaven has picked it up i'm sure the releases will be faster (well at least i hope)

i may take a vol or two to get you hooked but that's cause the storyline can't be thrown in your face that quickly...so just give it a chance

oh and those looking for a typical shoujo manga...this is definitely not it
there is a romantic sub-plot (but it's not the major story)

all in all this manga is awesome...read all 7 scanlated volumes in one sitting

I'm currently on vol.6 right now, and I must say I really like this manga a lot. I actually love the artwork , and of course the plotline is superb. But still, the characterization is the hightlight above all, 7seeds has some very unique characters.
I remember when I first read 7seeds, I thought it was too shojo for me, and I don't like the main girl that much (darn! the actual main girl appear in vol.2!!). But follow the story, it gets really good that I'd finished 5 volumes in 1 night.

I say it's a must read, for ppl who wants to read a great manga. Highly recommended! Seriously, ppl who turned down this manga after just few early chapters don't know what they're missing.

Considering the picture BakaUpdates put up for this series... i really didn't want to read it, but reading the comments did help and I started on it...

I must say... its ALOT better than I thought how it would be, at first i thought it was gonna be like battle royale of something but it has gotten way more interesting with the survival and stuff.

The art is good and the story plot is really awesome! It keeps you on edge trying think what will happen next! I didn't want to read it at first because of the horror. But it's not as gruesome as some may think. And this has got me really liking the horror genre! If it wasn't for this, I wouldn't be reading Attack on Titans! <3 Read it you will enjoy it. I can't wait to read the ending of this manga!

This is one of the few manga in recent times that had me forgo sleep in order to read all that is available in English. The story is okay, but what truly shines here are the characters - the inner-struggles they all face and how each one responds differently to the situation they were thrown into. So far it's shaping up to be one of the more memorable manga series in years. [I also LOVE the art, but I've always been a fan of Yumi Tamura's style.]
