I thought the lead guy is just too plain. Suddenly, the gradual disclosure of his personality made me think.."HE REALLY IS MY IDEAL GUY!" He has the 'just enough' childish element and he's being immature made me admit guys can be cute. yeah i thought i would never say this in my entire life. i've been reading shoujo manga and i've grown to adore the prince type. and i guess i'm shifting..haha

talk about the lead girl. tsundere i agree. that persona kinda irritates me. but Ma Ri is just too likable. I like cold characters even so, she gives off a warm likable feel. yeah she doesn't show much expressions but she 'looks'/feels warm. definitely she's going to top my fave characters list. never thought i would ever encounter a cold, few-words protagonist who could hook so much of many people's interest and bring the whole story. LUUURVVE IT!

Refreshing Story :)

I'm not really a fan of manhwa, but this is one of the exceptions.
Art: Simple, colorful, awesome.
Story: Sure it says vampires, but its not really the focus of the story, merely a supporting reason for one of the lead character's behavior. The story has a slowly-but-surely kind of development. ATM, it's more on character build up.
Characters: I love the leads. I always have a thing for tsunderes and theyre both like that.

Overall, I think this is a really good manhwa/manga that's worth your time. Of course, its only just begun, hopefully it will continue to be this awesome smile

SO GOOD

Realistic storyline (well, in terms of character interaction. Of course, vampires are a stretch). But it's more of a mellow, slice-of-life rather than an action-packed supernatural series. Which is awesome. Vampires who are like humans in every way except for the fact that they don't eat food and drink blood. Main character and others are very likable. This series is a webcomic, which is a form I'm starting to warm up too. The scrolling format is easy to follow and the full color adds a new dimension. Only bad part is the chapters went by too quickly T_T

I dont think that I have EVER been so intensely attracted to a series. I caught up with the translations in a sitting (up to chapter 23). Since, I have been sitting here, refreshing MU to see if there is a new chapter at least 3 times an hour, for 4 hours. I have never been so tempted to invent a time machine, just so I can go into the future and read the rest of this without the wait. The only words that I can give in recommendation is: read it. You will love it as much is I have.

Normally I am just very excited about a manga or webtoon for a short time. But with this one, every time a new chapter comes out, it is so hilarious and twisted that i feel 10 points are just right for this. I really love the characters and the setting: popular boy x ice queen. Nevertheless, she shows feelings. Not to other people, but to the reader, which makes her really likable. You will feel with her, when she distances herself, opens up, gets hurt, and so on...
You will find things or characters in here that you might know from other manga, but they are put together nicely and in every chapter you got a new nice twist.
The comedy is exactly my thing, I like the art and the chibis are cute and funny. What more to say? This has absolutely nothing in common with Twillight (except for the vampire x human theme).
This really keeps me waiting for Sunday^^

I have read a few web comics and this was an actually good read for the first time. The author didn't fall for the typical trap of dragging the story out for ages and instead started to develop the story from the very beginning. And the characters are so cute! Specially Joseph, he became my favourite guy of all time. The art is wonderful and the story is more modern and less cliché take on vampires in modern society. Message to the author: A pat on the back buddy! Good job.

I'm really loving it so far. It's such a really cute story. I love the fact that the principal character is a girl, normally it's always a boy in the vampire storys biggrin And Jae Min is just so cute to her, she wants to ignore him, but he is really presistent, he is doing to Ma Ri what the outher girls do to him xD but he should do that, because Ma Ri is not really 'living' a live, she is more 'passing' at her side!! Go Jae Min >3<//

It's slow-paced. It feels like a slice-of-life. The main leads are both tsunderes, though the male's a little more active in courtship. It has nice comedic touches. The art is sharp, clean, warm, and soft. The manhwa is more about the leads than the girl being a vampire, and no character relationship is over-the-top. However, the rules of the vampire world/population are not defined, nor are they used for character development, but as said vampires aren't really the focus here. It's about an isolated girl with a relationship obstacle who catches the eye of a popular, isolated boy.

The vampire-romance genre has received quite a few blows in the past decade. That just makes it all the better when something as great as this is born from that same genre.
Don't go hating the whole of the genre just because of the past decade. The original Dracula novel was pretty much a vampire-romance.

Anyways, speaking of THIS one in particular, it is AWESOME. Excellent balance between comedy and romance. In fact, the romance doesn't really come in for a while, the author takes his time and gives us a fair amount of back story about the current state of vampires in society.
I'm a guy and I don't make a habit of reading shoujo [only read Card Captor Sakura and DNAngel when i was 12 and a bit of Switch Girl a year ago which i dropped as it went stagnant] {Edit: I've since picked up a few more}. But I would say that this shoujo is perfectly suited for men as well as it doesn't just gush on about a 14 year old girl's thoughts about her 'one true love'. It deals with discrimination/racism, parental neglect and the like. Denial for the sake of self-preservation is a large part as well.
The comedy is in frequent doses. I can't help but laugh or smile whenever a super deformed/chibi face pops up, like when someone is running away or Ma Ri's little brother is doing anything. That guy is hilarious.

I read up to ch16 in one go and would have continued to the last [17 at this point in time] if i wasn't so sleep deprived.

P.S. make sure you check out the 1:57 minute song from the soundtrack that she sings in chapter 8. It's simply great.

EDIT: mmmk, it's not so great anymore. But I'll write some more when it's over.

EDIT 2: Totally degraded siginificantly by the end.

This is a great manga!!! Its unlike those STUPID vampire stories where the girl fall for for the hot vampire guy but this story is the complete opposite! I reccomend this to anyone who is a vampire fanatic looking for something different! biggrin
