Great work, as always !

Well I won't repeat all the praises that have been done of this mangaka, I'll just say it's one of my favourite ones.
And so, to speak about this series, I really love the bitter-sweet tone there is. I love it when it's not only fluffy and rose-colored storylines, it makes the emotions stronger and the "happy" moments so much intense.
In this case, I like how Yashiro is wavered by Doumeki's character and begins to open himself to love even though he still thinks he can't have a normal relationship with anyone. It's very sweet in the way it's like they're licking each other's wounds.
I usually rate Yoneda's works at 10, but as this one isn't finished, I rated it at 9, cause I can't say it's perfect when I haven't read the end yet.

I seriously have a love and hate relationship with this story. I love it one minute and hate it the next but in a good way. It's not for the light of heart its actually rather bitter sweet and dark. I love Yashiro and wish him happiness seriously. I look forward to more of this series.

Very unique in a cliche world

I've been following this manga for years and with every update, it gets better. The main characters are both broken when they meet and the story shows how complicated it is for them to heal. It also shows so much humanity is in some of the side characters. Everyone's actions are for a reason and the Yakuza world is like a jealous family longing for inheritance and the love of a parent. I love Yamashiro his story is so sad and it breaks my heart that he thinks he doesn't deserve love. Doumeki is perfect for him, short willed in some areas and soft-hearted in others. I look forward to seeing how Sensei will finish off the series.

The story is clever, sharp, and all the characters are well-written. The art and story pacing are fantastic, as always with this author.

It's also pretty dark. If that's not something you like, I would definitely not recommend this.

But I do love that the main guy (who doesn't top so far as I can see) is smart, powerful, but really damaged (and a type of nutcase, but you have to be to run a crime syndicate). I hate it when women or the receiving partner in a relationship are portrayed as weak or stupid just because they are the ones on the bottom. Yoneda (the author) never does this, so far as I've read. Which is awesome.

This is actually my favorite manga ever, and I'm not completely sure why!
I think it's the way the characters manage to be cool, but also feel realistic.
Also the humor come through the translation process really well!

Yashiro is hilarious! He makes me want to puke but I can't help to but loving him. I cracked up so much when he with a stoic face, in the middle of his self-emoing session, sang the lyric from Rose of Versailles OST lol

I'm glad Yashiro is getting some deserved attention and love? hopefully~ through this series and Doumeki is so cute(love his personality). He's a mystery to be solved. Just first chapter and so much impact, cant wait for more. When searching for it, it was mentioned as oneshot in some places. But I'm hoping its not.

I very much recommend this manga and it's better read with prequels as you'll get a whole picture. First prequel of this series made me feel heartbroken for Yashiro but after this chapter, it wasn't so bad to go back and read it again. I usually do not very much like character having casual sex and all(to top it off his masochistic streak) in manga but for some reason I cannot bring myself to feel that way towards Yashiro (maybe 'cause of his unrequited love/his solitary existence/his past, you name it or all of the above) and strange Doumeki(I've seen so far) fits in strangely but perfectly in the twisted life and character of Yashiro.
I wishing that Yoneda sensei will continue till the end of this series~ ♥

Finally!!?

In the first story of this series, "Tadayoedo Shizumazu, Saredo Naki mo Sezu" i felt really bad for Yashiro who didn't get the happy ending he so desired and deserved even. Sadly enough (though deliberately) he just continued to suffer. Its sequel was really good but poor Yashiro again seemed left out inspite of his popping up at various parts of the manga.

I'm really happy cause this time FINALLY i think Yashiro will get much needed happiness in the end and find love once more. This manga seems to have a lot of premise too. So even if you haven't read the prequels, if you're a yaoi fan and moreover Yoneda-sensei's fan, this manga is a must read (even if its just 1 chapter long now >.<) I totally recommend this biggrin
