OK I was an InuYasha freak when I first saw the anime. I loved it. So when it ended I continued reading the mangas. However, its getting far to repitious and long for even my bookreading/ manga loving self. The newest chapter ends by saying "The beginning of the final battle" ok How many "Final" battles have their been now... like 30. I will keep reading Inu just because after all this it better be a pretty good ending. However, I hope this "final battle" is actually the "FINAL BATTLE" that would be nice!

ok i never read the manga and i don't intend to after learning it's like 500 and something chapters long and on-going which is stupid for a manga to have like 500 chapters to read that are drag ons like naruto, bleach, dragonball etc (although i love bleach) and then the ending of the anime sucked "Oh, we will keep on trying hard to beat Naraku together!" wth? kikyou should like stay dead only because the poor soul keeps being sumoned back and i wish she just R.I.P cuz poor thing isn't going to get Inu to herself anymore now that she's like dead plus Kagome is annoying well in the anime but i guess it has a good plotline so if you're like a bookworm and are willing to read 53 volumes worth of repition then this is a good book for you XD good luck inuyasha living in a neverending hell

Is she trying to break a record? Seriusly, the manga is way too long...
Maybe after the 38 volumes of Ranma1/2 the mangaka desided that she wanted a2x lenth^.^
I like Inuyasha but how log can you chase after a guy? he is obiously not interested
And kikyou, just DIE already!!!!
I don't say that it's bad. I just say that it has become annoying.
(bleach is long too, but it stil fine^^)

Whoa.. I love Inuyasha the series. Though the characters are a little annoying and I want to smack Kagome for being so dependant to InuYasha, I'll guarantee this for the people who can tolerate extremely long series with a somewhat cliche storyline.

I think Kikyo rules, by the way.

Repetitive, yes, long, true, but personally, as long as Sesshy-sama is there and Maki-Maki keeps up the level of hilarity in the extra cartoon comments/summaries, I'll stay hooked. (Yes, the scanlator is important to me, lol).

Interesting that people still read this. Not just because its sooooooo long or the fact that I'm a Basher. Just off the simple fact that they are still chasing the same guy for 50+ volumes. How many times can someone avoid death or run away before people get tired of it?

I'm guessin when the publisher realizes the error in their system like Officespace.

OK I know everyone has their own opinion and everything, but I honestly can't see how Inuyasha is a bad manga/anime JUST because it's 52+ volumes. For those of you that keep up with the weekly Shonen Sunday releases, I think you'll agree with me that the story line is getting better and better. Maybe those who are complaining are only doing so because SPOILER:SPOILER: their beloved miko dies? Just a thought. SPOILER:SPOILER. Anyways, I for one have been a dedicated Inuyasha fan since the beginning, and must say the storyline is really picking up. I feel bad for those that ditched it......cause you don't know what your missing.

i think TAKAHASHI is trying to make the longest manga EVER!!!
it will sure be 114 volumes

It's a good manga but Takahashi-san is stretching it too much... They keep fighting... yet they are never able to defeat Naraku entirely >__>
