pandora hearts - It's a long manga. HOLY CRAP great storyline when you get more to the 57th chapter and so on. Art gets really better around chapter 27 or something. Tons of plot twists are in this manga. Its adventure, tradgedy and a tiny-wimey mix of romance..... Oh, And by the way, try not to get too attached to the characters, aight? You dont want to do that to this mind fucking manga..

Banana Fish - Probably the best manga ever. 19 volume, brilliant plot, great characters and perfect ending. Don't let the art put you off, this is a gem.

07 Ghost - Still ongoing, but worth reading.

Hana Yori Dango - I hate romance, but this is just too good!

Let Dai - Really beautiful.

Boku no Hatsukoi o Kimi ni Sasagu - A little too idealistic at times, but it deals with serious problems in a fairly realistic way.

Fruits Basket - cute and not-so-serious.
