I bought this spinning toy thing for my cat and he always screams at me to bring it out! He does this specific mew. The toy was $20 and is called Cat's Meow. It's for people like me who're lazy and always in and out of the house.

His meows warm up my crazy cat lady heart. ^^

Was told that I seem extra perky today, and whipped myself up a nice batch of Korean pancakes. I'm looking forward to a nice peaceful weekend.

Was looking if there are girls who want to sext on tumblr because the gender ratio there is better than in most places online, but realized how many creeps there are, and how many depressed and lonely people there are, so decided I'll give that up, and instead message someone who's lonely so that we're both less lonely, and started talking to a fun girl, and we talked about lots of fun things \o/

The alternate ending to Rumbling Hearts.
I still have a huge grin from this ending. biggrin (If only I saw this 4 years ago ...)

Seeing fireworks somewhat from a close range. I was at the aquarium, which is next to some body of water, and the fireworks were being shot from a barge (or something) on that body of water. I was close enough where I could feel the vibrations from the fireworks.

I'm also smiling at how nicely my phone took pictures of the event. (I post a link to a pic or two later...) biggrin

My uncle ate a 'no sugar added' apple pie, and thought it was too sweet.

That's not very smile-worthy in itself, but after he dubbed it 'too sweet', he then used the phrase 'son of a bitch' as a pronoun to describe said pie in his further ramblings.

That's right.

My uncle was casually calling a 'no sugar added' apple pie he bought as... a son of bitch.

"THAT SON OF A BITCHIN' THING..."

I laughed, WAY too hard.

My son got a call from a place where he applied for a job...this may not sound like much, but around here, most applications seem to end up in the Great Black Hole, so a call is a big thing! biggrin

It's far from a job offer (should hear back by Monday/Tuesday if they want a "real" interview) but it's at least *something*!!

(Its an assembly job at a local company that treats its workers quite well, with good pay & benefits - my brother's been working there for 5+ years & likes it fine.)

Being on the bus towards home, and reaching a bit of empathy. Felt very gratified, and understood. Can't really describe the situation specifically, but it was very refreshing.

My husband gave me my birthday present early. It's noise canceling headphones. (a bit pricey compared to the normal cheap $5 earplugs I get ...)
These are really nice, comfy, and I can't hear anything other than the music. ( I can finally work on my stories )

biggrin

Mann, just found out that Tasogare Otome x Amnesia had an Epilogue/Omake,
I stopped at the last chapter, and my reaction for the manga was "vague end" or something (cause I wasn't sure if Teicchi disappeared with Yuuko or Yuuko just stayed with him)

But, yeah, I just really finished manga, epilogue is good, Ftw!
Lol
