In a lot of manga, the main characters wear either school uniform, or very basic clothing. Can anyone please recommend manga with characters that dress fashionable and modern/trendy? The only manga that I have read that fit this criteria are Skip Beat!, Honey Hunt, and The One.

I have looked through the posts but none of them really fit what I'm looking for. I'm not really looking for a manga about fashion or modeling, just a really well drawn manga with characters that dress trendy.

Also, please no
Smut, Shonen-Ai, Yuri, Yaoi, Ecchi or anything like that.

how about Midnight Children. Yeah it is buy a smut manga creator, but I don't think this one has any.

Paradise Kiss - main girl is "kidnapped" (lol!) by fashionistas.
Neighborhood Story - main girl wants to make her own brand of clothing.
Nana - several cool/trendy characters.
Kimi Wa Pet - trendy heroine, and the guys are cool too.
Mana - very flamboyant. 😉

Edit: You might also be interested in gothic lolita manga like Othello., Doll, Gothic Sports and Dazzle. Obviously fashion is very important there. I've noticed that many manhwa tend to be more fashionable than manga (wonder why?). Almost any manhwa romance you read will have a super-fashionable hero or heroine. Lol. Just take Sugar Addiction, Goong and Hush as examples.

Uh... Yeah back on-topic, I noticed that you also recommended manhwa - do you agree with my hypothesis that manhwa is more fashionable than manga? Because like... once I start thinking of manhwa to recommend I can't actually think of a single manhwa that didn't have really trendy (or at least visually stunning) fashions. No shoujo manhwa, anyway. Maybe I should just recommend ALL shoujo manhwa to meganoloso? Lol. 😀

I don't think all Manhwa are fashionable... for me something like He's Dedicated to Roses or Honggane isn't really fashionable, and I personally am not a fan of Hwang Mi Ri's art style... ^^

Oh yeah, Berry Dynamite, Girl in Heels and Ageha could also be fashionable ?

Anyway...PEACH-PIT LOVE trendy cloth 😁 (I think they did some Fashion designing befoure being mangakas) ,Almost all of thyre works have somthing to do with fashionable cloth:

• Rozen Maiden Is a manga about Doll's, Has alot of Gothic Lolita cloth.
• Shugo Chara! Is a Magical Girl manga, With some of the most awesome cloth I have ever seen
• Zombie-Loan Has some pretty good cloth. But they rarely apper duo to the characters always wearing thyre School uniform 😔 .

Also, MIHARA Mitsukazu's work's have great Gothic Lolita cloth. 😃

Nodame Cantabile features really lovely, chic clothes. They look simple, but the cut and colors are utterly tasteful, and it's quite impressive how each character has his/her own style that matches his/her personality.

As far as the manhwa go, I've seen a few that are not very fashionable at all but like you pointed out, the characters in Goong have a lot of great style and the art is also amazing (I've already read it though).
Sugar Addiction looks good though so I'll check it out.

I just found this manga KANOJOIRO NO KANOJO. The clothes are really cute and trendy and the hair styles are really nice too.
