you can try serching with the word "smut" but not including the word "hentai" and "yaoi".
just suggestion. because i actually read a lot of josei that has sex in it. there's bound to be plenty.

Most of the good romance with sex is not smut or ecchi. The majority of the smut genre is just bad. So I would suggest avoiding them. 
I think Love - Motto Aishite is a shoujo short story collection worth a read.

I think you'd like I"s. I'm like you; I'd rather see a romance manga actually follow through and see the development of the characters' relationship. Just stick with this one, I've recommended it before and lot's a readers enjoyed it 
Oh, and maybe Mysterious Girlfriend X (which I'm currently following, and who knows where it will lead??) =D

I know. Which is exactly why I put the requirement that the characters need to be able to keep their pants on.

Boku Ni Natta Watashi don't know if i spelled that right...anyhoo, this has plenty of physcial action. I remember I liked it because after reading so many manga romances where nothing happens...this was nice haha

hey OP, I was wondering if you can list the ones you can recommend that are seinen/shounen, I'm also interested in this but not really a fan of shoujo or josei =[
