A somewhat strange request, but I'm looking for yaoi / shounen-ai where the uke isn't the typical bishounen you find in BL. An uke that's considered ugly / odd-looking / unattractive by others (except the seme, who of course finds him adorable), and is drawn as such! I'm not looking for manga where the uke is supposedly unattractive, but then takes off his glasses is a hottie, or is drawn like a bishie anyway. No bara either, please. Something like these would be good:

Hoppe ni Himawari
Aitsu no Daihonmei
Kikoenai Koe

In Dame BL, the one-shot Ima Doushiteru has a fat seme, not a fat uke, but it's totally cute and you should read it (both of them are otakus...). Maybe Mawaru Sekai no Kimi to Boku? Hm, I don't know... In another topic (I lost the link orz) about ugly ukes, I found this recommendations but I didn't read any of it yet: Jouzetsuna Yubi (ok, read that one, uke has a scar...), Yume Miru Seiza (didn't read it), Menkui! (didn't read it), Usotsuki "My Most Beloved One Is Still You" one-shot (didn't read it) and try this topic too.

EDIT: seconds late, the topic I was talking about is the one omiplant posted. laugh

I don't really have any recommendations but Aitsu no Daihonmei actually came to be one of my favorites. If anybody else has "ugly uke" suggestions, please share. Bless this topic!

You should try out the second story from Itoshii Akuma . It´s chapter 6-8. The uke is very plain looking and gloomy but the seme finds him cute...
