Hello once again peoples. I am still looking for more manga. I know, I read too fast. If it's your first time seeing me in this forum, be prepared to see me a lot.

Anyway, this time I am looking for something similar to my most recent obsession, Kamisama Hajimemashita Basically as in, for instance, super powerful demon falling in love with weak human. My absolute favorite scenes in these are when she's in trouble due to an illness or something and he can't save her, that horrified expression, mmm... :3

... ahem. Anyway, I really, really want it to be completely scanlated, unlike Kamisama Hajimemashita. Can be any length, though I prefer at least twenty chapters or so to build a good storyline with twists and turns. Please let me know if there are any manga similar to this! Especially that horrified expression when he can't save her... I know, I have a weird fetish. >.< bigrazz

Tragedy is fine as long as some people live in the end, smut is a-okay, yaoi is a no-no please (not today, anyway... but tomorrow, who knows? smile wink grin ), no Yuri either... and complete, I think that's all for requirements really. Many thanks in advance!

EDIT. Oh, and please no manhwa. I just can't seem to get into some of those styles. I'm too used to smexy manga Japanese boys. XD

When I said 'death' before 'dishonor', I meant alphabetically.

Imagine what would happen if there were no more hypothetical situations.

edit: sorry, just realize you dont want manhwa, but I strongly recommend it bigrazz

Kanata Kara It's rather old but very nice indeed. The main character although weak is very likable.

Well, since you've already read most of the series that I would've recommended, I don't have much left to suggest. Anyway, here you go:

Watashi no Ookami-san by Fujiwara Cocoa would be the one closest to youre preferred setting. The demon king is quite infatuated with the heroine and gets the most distressed when he can't do anything for her; it doesn't happen very often, though.

KUSANAGI Mizuho's Mugen Spiral has a different premise (demon wants to eat her) but they soon turn into an inofficial couple, and he starts to protect her from other demons who try to take a bite. Has an open ending.

EDIT: I found some additions after browsing my lists.

Kemonotachi no Yoru by SHIOMI Chika does not fit perfectly - the male lead is possessed by a demon - but you might like this dramatic one since it bears similarities to Joousama no Inu in style.

I found another series to satisfy your fetish: Ten no Ryuu Chi no Sakura by SUMOMO Momo. The male lead is not a demon but a troubled dragon whose hands are tied most of the time, so he can't do anything except watch his beloved struggle.

Thank you, thank you~

pyonk, I don't usually like manwha styles, but I will try it since you recommend it. ^_^

Lilinar, I don't usually like the older manga either, but as I didn't say anything against them, I will try that one sooner or later as well. I'm too spoiled with the fantastic art I've read with lately. xD

Tripitaka, I read Mugen Spiral right away, as it's shorter than some of the others and it was lovely, thank you. The other has gone on my wishlist and will be placed somewhere in a high position... bigrazz

Thank you all~
More suggestions are gladly welcomed! eyes

Don't underestimate the art just because it's old... I personally like its art more than Kamisama Hajimemashta. You should give it a try! smile

It's a shounen, but I think you could like Youko x Boku SS. It's not complete, but similiarly to Kamisama Hajimemashita its anime kinda has a little ending.

Shounen romances are fine too, but I really need complete stories. I already have too many unfinished ones on my reading list, and my OCD is driving me crazy. >.<

But I will put it on my wish list, and when it is completed, if ever, I will read it. Thank you. ^_^

Although it's ongoing, it feels like a KH rip-off. Momochi-san Chi no Ayakashi Ouji

What about Ryouko no Shinrei Jikenbo I really love this manga, a bit old but really good and the art is pretty decent.

You should try Black Bird, it's still ongoing but it's really close to the end.

If you're looking for something similar I think InuYasha is the closest.

Hanatsukihime I'm not sure if someone recomended this, but it's what first came to mind, hes strong and constantly protecting her from other demons, I wont give any other spoilers, but I hope you like it ^_^ biggrin
Oh and i agree masca even though its manwa it doesn't have the strong manwa feel that most have

I'd suggest Hana to Akuma. It's completely translated, has 58 chapters and has a lot of what you're looking for.
