Hi guys,

Can you suggest a few epic and already completed manga? Epic here simply means JUST TOO GOOD TO BE PUT DOWN. YOU JUST CAN'T STOP READING!

Your particular definition of 'epic' needs a bit of clarification. Do you mean that in the normal textbook sense, or just some sort of sense of grandiosity?

Hellsing
Kanata Kara
Kiseijuu
Outlanders

I took "epic" in the sense of scale.

(you probably read most of them):

Rave Master
Psyren
Eden no Ori
Mirai Nikki
Yu Yu Hakusho
Law of Ueki
Eyeshield 21
Hikaru No Go

And I second Kanata Kara and Hoshi no Samidere (absolute favorites of mine)

-What I consider epic.

No romance, Not reading it.
Unless it's as good as One Piece/Kuroko No Basket/Yu Yu Hakusho/Beelzebub/DragonBall/HunterXHunter of course.

3x3 Eyes
Alive
Eden - It's an Endless World!
Trigun Maximum
Saikano
Battle Angel Alita
BLAME!
Black God
Fullmetal Alchemist
Kaze no Tani no Nausicaä

Beck maybe. It's more normal epic than ZOMG EPIC!!!!!!!111!! like the ones above it.

I've got a few more that would fall under a more normal kind story.

20th Century Boys. And maybe Monster - it's not so epic in the "WHOA! FIGHTS! EXPLOSIONS!" style, but still very good, I think.

Hi,

"Epic" here means it constantly have cliffhanger end-chapters that makes me wanna constantly read the next chapter! And also, an overall good story will be nice as well. I don't mind if its romance, action, etc etc. 😛

Superior is pretty good. I also liked Immortal Rain and Shirogane no Karasu.

Emma romance set in Victorian England. It will not disappoint.
I"s
Change 123
Black Cat
Cross Game Unlike most sports manga I've tried reading, this one stays grounded in reality better than most. That is to say everything that happens in it is completely possible in real life and doesn't try to spice scenes up with crazy plays or "special balls" or stupid crap like that [Looking at you Daiya no A. >:-( ] However, their cleanup batter has to be the reincarnation of Yogi Berra or something. He hits everything.
