Hello there, this one is maybe not so related to mangas themselves, however I counting on those who have read mangas with the tag "based from a novel".
I am looking for a light novel that has romance has a plot or subplot.
Thank you in advance ^^

Legend of the Sun Knight. The romance is more like bromance for the MC.But there is some love.

More romance in 1/2 Prince than LSK (same author). But it's still very light.

It's not interesting, it's a masterpiece.
Pretty much anything has romance as a subplot. I'd say that the ones with a very relevant romance plot are for me Toradora! (novel), which is quite good, Haganai (novel), which is ok, NHK ni Youkoso! (Novel), good, Gosick (novel), good, Golden Time (Novel), it's ok, Oreimo (novel), good/ok. If you consider "harem" a "romance", then Campione! (novel) too.

Infinite Stratos
High School DxD
Even though they're both harem I had lot fun reading these two.

Well, it's kinda hard for me to check baka-tsuki for this, because I don't feel very confident so I thought I might as well have faith in the others^^

Our journey to the end of the ceasing world
Detalian no shoka
Mushi no Eyeball
Mimizuku to yoru no ou
all these series aren't exactly focused on the romance, but you get a feel of it. Sorry for unclickable links.

This is one of my favorite series. And the romance is actually a part of the story, it's not just annoyingly hinted at.
Hakushaku to Yousei (Novel)
Here's the link to Nalya's site where you can read it (her info isn't on Baka Updates) http://earlandfairy.weebly.com/ It's seriously really good, read it.
Gu Fang Bu Zi Shang (Novel) is also pretty gosh darn good.
And Sugar Apple Fairytale (Novel) is suppose to be really good. Just the prologue is translated so far, but I'm thinking you should keep your eyes on it. The manga version of it is really good.
That's all I can think of right now. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did!

Kikou Shoujo wa Kizutsukanai An anime adaptation coming out in september!
Tokyo Ravens also adapted into an anime in september!
Seikoku no Ryuu Kishi Warriors and dragon in an academy
Rising x Rydeen Cliche boy meet girl after long time of separation in the world people with super power exist.
Hitsugi no Chaika
Most I've listed are more the typical shounen genre adventure with romance on the side, but still enjoyable to read. Hope you enjoy them.
