So what were the top shoujo/josei mangas this past couple of years? Are they good?
I have been submerged in the real world and lost touch with my inner otaku. I would like to get back to reading. I'm taking any shoujo and josei suggestions, oneshot, finished and ongoing series.

You could try the advanced search with Shoujo + sort by score. Same for Josei! But I don't know if you are referring to top manga as in top score or as in new good mangas.

My personal recommendations (assuming you are up to any kind of shoujo) are:

... some of them are really famous/everybody-likes-it. If you want new shoujo manga as in 2010^, I recommend the sort by year in the advanced search. It is kinda of hard to recommend something only with 'shoujo' (because Hibi Chouchou and Silver Diamond are shoujo, but they are completely different for example).

For Josei, I really recommend anything done by the group Stiletto Heels.
