Looking for a good seinen romance. Tragedy is welcome, to a degree, as is comedy.
Help me out, please (also, it would be nice if it were able to be on a certain site that starts with a number and ends with an 'anga')

Sundome
Ciguatera - Seinen
Blood Alone - Seinen
check the Deep Love series for tragedy, they are josei manga, but fit what you asked for.
Deep Love - Ayu no Monogatari
Deep Love - Host
Deep Love - Reina no Unmei

NightSwan also said that she wanted to peg me, once, but I'm not sure whether to take that as a compliment or a threat...

I agree with tsuto,
Blood Alone is probably the best vampire romance/slice of life manga out there. The characters, storyline, art and atmosphere are top-notch.
Ciguatera's also very enjoyable.... Funny as hell. The main character's a looser but not the type you hate....really. Arguably Furuya Minoru's best work.
I also strongly recommend anything by Asano Inio.... especially Solanin if you're looking for a funky, melancholic, deep, tragic yet uplifting romance/drama/slice of life story. Beautiful art (excellent use of gray shades)
Saikano is another excellent manga, but really sad and slightly cheesy.
If you don't mind something a bit older (1990's).... try Living Game.
You may like Josei romance's as well.... Usually not as stupid/cheesy as thier shoujo counterparts. Try Mars and Bitter Virgin.
Socrates in Love(1 volume only) is considered shoujo, but it's quite good.
I'm sure I've read many more, but these are the 'stand-out' titles that come to mind at the moment.
Sundome is a shallow, masochistic load of crap. Haru yo Koi feels trashy.... Just my opinion, though. You may like them.
Cheers!

KaNa - The ending is kinda... blah, but the rest of the manga is pretty good.

Love Lucky (incomplete scanlation)
Nazo no Kanojo X (my favorite, incomplete)
Ookami to Koushinryou (incomplete)
REC (incomplete)
Umi no Misaki (incomplete)
Emma (probably the best of this list, complete)
Koi Kaze (incest, complete)
I also second Living Game, very good imo.

I'm reading Koi Kaze right now, (on chapter 16). To say that it is outright incest right now is just not right...
Does it get more involved?

That's a hard question to answer. Koi Kaze isn't an ecchi or smutty manga, but it is a love story revolving around a brother and sister. I'm not sure if that answers your question.

Yes, incest will definitely come into play. I read the whole thing and I don't hate it but... ah, I just can't put my finger on the reason it displeases me so.
But anyway I had more suggestions for you but my brother was being a douche.
Poppoya Love Letter - This one made me cry a little bit I'm not gonna lie, and it's only 1 volume so 5 chaps and you're done.
Umi no Misaki - The way they treat the main character in the first few chaps is kind of annoying but it turns around quickly. Of course in traditional stories w/ similar concepts the guy whines about how he wants thing to "go back to normal". I still like it, though. Same mangaka as Ai Yori Aoshi
Sundome - Can't quite describe this one. On here, the reveiwers were either hot or cold about this one, but I like it.
Emma - I started this one out of curiosity, got bored, and decided to blow through it in like 2 days. After a while I realized that the story was actually pretty good, it leaves a few gaps but Mori fixes that w/ a semi-sequel.

I second this pretty damn good.
Ummm, Welcome to the NHK is pretty good...ummmm My Balls?... Sangatsu no Lion?....Koi no Kamisama? π?
Damn.. I would've had a lot more but these bastards took mine. Strange, I love this genre and I'm pretty sure I've read a lot of mangas in this genre but I can't seem to remember a lot of them... Oh well, hope this helps.
Maybe our taste in manga isn't as different as our taste in music.
