Hi everyone, I am carving for shoujo manga At the Moment and can't find any to my liking. A small criteria is a school life shoujo manga with an interesting emotionally strong female lead. Shoujo manga that is character driven but not heavily rely on situational circumstances.
Yes, just like Tanake no Hana or Koi Dano Ai Dano(wish more would be like this)

Strong character female lead doesnt mean they need to butt heads with the Male lead everytime they meet or over the top comedy formed by embarrassment/shyness.

While i have read lots of the mainstream ones, please feel free to comment on your recommendations.
(but i know there wont be more like Koi Dano Ai Dano though, nowadays its more to masterpieces with super great drawings and full page of a "emotionally moved female lead.jpg" every chapters and dumb relationship misunderstandings)

Colette Decides to Die It's not school life but it's probably my favorite shoujo manga, and the protag is very strong and level-headed 🙂
(Unfortunately I like shorter series so most of these are only one volume long 😔)

I personally like my manga longer as you can see from the two examples though(more than 10 volumes)
Have tried Hirunaka no Ryuusei and tight hug planet and taiyou no ie
but will try the rest, thanks
