Pathetic, uneasy, scared, lonely, incomplete and desperate? confused

Humans seem more unique than that to me. Humans unlike most species can choose to completely change their personality but no 2 humans will ever choose the same path. Life is in the details, the nuances of daily existence. Can't stand post modern thinking, just cause Europe had two world wars everyone in the world becomes just as pessimistic.

seems kind of ironic your nickname is papermaster, yet you don't use proper English.....
I guess you are a 'unique snowflake, like all the rest of the people.

Thats funny, I thought they were called World Wars because countries all over the globe took part in them or were impacted by the events to a certain degree.

Some examples outside of Europe: Canada, USA, Japan, China, etc...

On topic: Who cares about others.... being "nice" (dirty word) is painful for ME!
Edit: But then again I usually only state the truth. It's not my fault people don't like it... no

We are totally off track now, nice. But brings up a new point, so nice people can't exist in this society because we are all too pessimistic? Or are we not as nice as we hope or think we are, we are just self-pitying?

I'm guessing his nickname is from Read or Die and has nothing to do with how he writes. I mean his avatar says it all: R.O.D.

so you don't find it ironic at all? A work involving reading does not promote more reading for proper English? Besides......is papermaster even a character in rod?

Don't know couldn't get past chapter 1 when I tried to read it.

Back on subject being nice sucks because people try to use you. Even if they don't at first soon they will take you for granted, and thats the biggest problem of being nice.

lol lots of anti nice people here. I see no problem in being nice, if your nice and naive though then you can run into trouble.

Well, I don't believe you can be nice and naive...Well, you could. But then you'd just be ignorant and innocent as oppose to being nice. I mean, how the heck will you be able to help people, if you can't even help yourself?

First I'm a optimist and believe in enlightenment which would inherently go against your basis for thought. The link you posted is of the same frame of mind as yourself dark, cynical and bitter. For what I don't really know. I don't have any idea why you would pick on me other than your just a cruel person.

As far as proper English goes, my thoughts are rarely organized into rational complete ideas. Sorry if this doesn't mean anything to you.

But as far as your English goes since we are critiquing peoples typing and not just ideas expressed, your should be reminded that capitalizing the first letter of the first word of a sentence is also consider proper English.

So now your looking like a cruel lame person.

Read or Die:
Papermaster is the name of the title in ROD that Yomiko Readman has, given her ability to use her mind to control paper. Yomiko Readman is known for her obsessive reading and collecting of books, not her writing abilities.

Doesn't mean you have to be an ass to people for no reason. I don't recall trying to use you Meta.

I was summoning up the ideas expressed in the few posts before and up to mine not making a judgment call. Sorry if there was a misunderstanding because I was not meaning to level a personal action or any kind of slander.

Okay! This was not to be a flame war topic. It'd be nice if you two stop now, shake hands, be good friends...or just stop posting. =)

Not sure about friends, I got the impression that he didn't like me or something.

This seems to go back to the topic of being too nice hurting others. Not only are others hurt but people I guess see being nice as a sign of weakness and try to take advantage of it.

You better listen to what this guy said. And I could add the take it elsewhere option.

If someone is too nice, they may try to avoid hurting someone's feelings at all costs, even though telling them the truth (gently) may save them larger hurt feelings farther down the road.

I agree with the people who've said that if a person is too nice all the time it starts to seem fake; also a person who is too nice will often find themselves taken advantage of.

I believe in being nice, and kind, and also honest - with others and myself. eyes (Doesn't mean I always live up to it, but that's what I try for. laugh )
