I try to keep the list pretty real by evening it out, although throwing Berserk & Ubel Blatt with Romance, and Drama maybe isn't really a good Idea?lol
Death beholds you in the Afterlife! <3
well my top 5 would be:
- Xxx holic: this series introduced me to anime and manga and I am very grateful. I have a crush on Watanuki and this is my first anime/manga. I love it and a corner of my heart will be reserved for Watanuki and holic.
- Love in the mask: Well it took a lot of difficulty to stop myself from crying(i didn't want to cry because my 2012 resolution was not to cry and I didn't want to break it ) after reading this but however I loved it. Thank you Han yu rang for writing such a wonderful book and I am waiting for some of the manga chapters to be released. Love you Han yu rang.
3)My boyfriend is a Vampire: Another thank you to Han yu rang. I understood the strength and feeling of true love from this one. Plus I love vampires. - Faster than a kiss: No words but hats off to this manga.
5)Absolute manga: After reading this I came to know that Japanese manga and comics have the power to make people fell deeply emotional an give us a tendency to cry. I am a manga slave for the rest of my life!

- One Piece
- Skip Beat
- Tower of God
- Noblesse
- Naruto (Not sure if it is my 5th fav, but couldn't think of one that deserves this spot)
For One Piece and Naruto even those these are a lot of times overrated, i still think they are among the best mangas I've ever read, though sometimes they seem too long. lol

Kinda hard, some of them I think are master piece but not necessary what I would enjoy the most. So this list is a mixture of both.
-One Piece (beat out other shonen jump titles)- capture the humor of Dragon Ball/Dr. Slump but also the adventure-ness of Doreamon long stories. Both those elements are in the Japanese culture and well enjoy in Asia.
-Berserk- (beat out Claymore, Vinland Saga, Übel Blatt, etc)- I would say it is my favorite seinen.
-20th Century Boys- Granted I haven't read Monster yet. But this series is awesome.
-Gantz- (beat out series like Battle Royale and other alternative series).
-Eyeshield 21- not a perfect manga but it is my favorite sport manga. Though people who knew about football may found this a little bit meh.
Honorable mentioned Hunter x Hunter anime and not manga
Also Dorohedoro, Until Death Do Us Part, and Vagabond
I think I covered most bases here.

Saiyuki & maybe in second Arakawa Under the Bridge
Saiyuki is just...amazing. No one can convince me that it is not the best manga in the world. I can re-read it and re-read it and never get bored. Arakawa is just great, too.

I mostly read shoujo, short ones, and mostly non-mainstream, but here are my faves anyways:
- Flowers of Evil- started my love for incest mangas and toning down (big time) my hate for manhwas (I hated the Hwang Mi Ri stuff and thought that most shoujo manwhas were like that).
- Kodomo no Omocha, Skip Beat!, & Koi Dano Ai Dano and its prequel. All of which has a uniqueish heroine (esp. in a shoujo manga)
- NANA- it got me into my most favourite singer ever: OLIVIA
- Chrono Crusade- because it was my first anime/manga
- Psychic Detective Yakumo, School Rumble, Ouran High School Host Club, Paradise Kiss and Shugo Chara! (don't laugh).
Sorry I posted too much mangas, but I simply can't choose my top five amongst these lots.
