Hello,
My friend and I are searching for other 'flawed relationship' manga to read. In the same vain as:
Mars
Bitter Virgin
Kiss, Zekkou, Kiss Bokura no Baai
The genre isn't paticularily important, but it should have some depth and seriousness.
Thanks and regards

ahoaho,
Thank you, however apart from having read all those, I am not really looking for Comedy but relationship stories with more of a dark plot; depression; trauma; misunderstandings; etc.

Basilisk
Watashi no Megane-kun

Second edit:
Seconded Watashi no Megane-kun.
As well, Sakura Gari if you're not opposed to yaoi. Don't let the mangaka scare you away.
It's psychosomatic. You need a lobotomy. I'll get a saw.
You gonna do somethin'? Or are you just gonna stand there and bleed?

None of your lists are public, and D-Ash fits your description and appendix to your description.
Sorry I can't be of more assistance.
If you want an anime, try Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien

Basara. More action/fantasy than romance (along the lines of fushi yuugi), but the romance is one of the more interesting plotlines.
I second the Watashi no Megane-kun recommendation.
Also a lot of the works by Yumeka Sumomo aka Sahara Mizu in particular, Hoshi no Koe

Deep Love - Ayu no Monogatari Tragic love story between a guy with a heart condition in a hospital with a limited amount of time to live and, and a drug addicted prostitute.
So if you'll read yaoi...
I recommend anything by MIYAMOTO Kano. Lots of dysfunction and dark topics. And dealt with in a very serious and realistic manner, just like in Mars, and Bitter Virgin.

Sono Kuchibiru ni yoru no Tsuyu if you don't mind yaoi.
Gekka no Kimi <==sorta...
Vampire Knight <==sorta...
Boku no Hatsukoi wo Kimi ni Sasagu
Can't Lose You
Fairy Cube, sort of...
Kiss in the Blue, in theory at least...
Lovesick, sort of
Snow Drop
Ichigo Channel
Tokyo Crazy Paradise
Shinshi Doumei Cross could work too...
Deep Love Virus
Kimi ga Suki
It's Love
Parfait Tic, it's pretty angsty at least...
37 Degrees Kiss, if only for the second story
Kare First Love at times...
Renai Saishuchiten
I second Gekka no Kimi
Smuts:
Haou Airen
Midnight Secretary
Toriko Aigan Shoujo
Moe Kare!!, through parts of it at least
Same for Uwasa no Midori-kun
Osaerarenai!
Most of the stories in Kimi ni Furetara
Teacher's Pet, sort of...
Meh, I'm too lazy think up any more. Some of these fit all of your parameters, others just touch on them, but they've all got a bad communication/tragedy etc. theme running through them.
poof "SHOUJOMAN IS HERE!"
Just Lynz, drop the -ajw
