Hi! I have a new request for everyone.

I've been reading some Korean light novels, and a common theme I've been seeing is that the main character dies in the present and is reincarnated (with memories intact) in another world, or in the historic past. Once there, they grow up as an entirely new person and use their previous life's knowledge to do something awesome...

anyway, I'm looking for a manga version of that.

Anybody know a manga where the main character dies, is reincarnated, and lives a whole new life in another world (can't be the same world). Action, adventure, fantasy, romance would be good smile

These don't involve time travel through reincarnation in the present but they're pretty close:
Threads of Time - best bet
Shut Hell
Arata Kangatari

Inuyasha, I think. And I haven't read it, but Threads of Time seems to fit the bill.

Please Save My Earth but not all of them remember about their past

Ahaha, sorry if it's a tough request.

Most of the recommendations here I've already read, and they don't exactly fit what I'm looking for.

In the case of manga like Inuyasha, [m]Crazy Shin Bia[/m], or Id, they haven't died and been reborn but simply "fell" into a different world. In other words, they are the exact same person, just in a different world. I'm looking for something like: they are reborn as a completely different person.

As for the ones that involve angels and afterlife and such...I might be sounding picky, but I was looking for a more "on-earth" situation rather than the "3rd dimension."

Threads of Time sounds really close...he's a whole new person in the other world. I think I'll check that one out.

Anything else please? biggrin biggrin biggrin

Mahoutsukai no Neko
The boy dies when he's trying to save a cat from being run over by a truck and he dies just to find out he's in different world and he's a cat - specifically a cat that can change into human - a magican's cat.

If you're referring to Angel Beats!, they're living a normal high school life in an high school. It's a kind of reproduction of the life they couldn't have on Earth, but to know more you have to read it. They're not angels in the traditional way.

And I just remembered NG LIFE which I think it fits, but it's not probably the genre you're looking for.

The two reincarnation themed manga that I can think of are: Immortal Rain (this theme appears later on) and Please Save My earth

I can't think of any that are exactly what you're looking for, but Ouji to Majou to Himegimi to might work even though it s pretty silly.

Then there's also Yu Yu Hakusho on the off-chance you haven't read it. The problem is he isn't reincarnated, he just becomes a ghost. But, the stuff he does is much cooler.

Aries would fit I guess. What else? I would second NG Life (however, there are no awesome things that he does with his past knowledge) as it is a good read. Kyuuketsu Yuugi might fit the bill? Bokura no Kiseki should be perfect for what you are looking for, however not much has been scanlated. Maybe Momogumi Plus Senki? Midas Eater sounds good if it ever gets scanlated. Blade Sangokushi, no idea if it is any good. Hopefully all these suggestions will help you.
