Well, I don't like overly-sparkly girly Shoujo...but I do really like it in general...my top 3 faves in order are:

1. Vampire Knight (luvluvluv it 😀 )
2. Fruits Basket
3. Tokyo Mew Mew

Might start watching or reading Chobits soon. 😀 (well...is that Shoujo?)

Hmm...I'd say my favorite mahou shoujo of all time would have to be Bishoujo Senshi Sailormoon (yes, I like Sailormoon ok?). My favorite non-magical girl shoujo would probably be Full Moon wo Sagashite or Fruits Basket. I'm more of a magical girl story geek though. I love cute magical items and henshins into the "super heroine". However, I'm more into the old school magical girl series like Sailormoon, Nurse Angel Ririka, Akazukin Cha Cha, Wedding Peach, etc.

Hana Yori Dango. I loved every minute reading that manga. I never expected myself to get so engrossed in the story and its characters.

I give HYD sole credit in turning me into an avid fan of shoujo manga... it's a far cry from my shounen/seinen days. ('.') Well.. it's not like I'll ever stop reading One Piece or anything... 😛

Crossroads. Definitely. The characters and their actions are so REAL! There's none of the shoujo manga cliche! ..... ok, there was a leeeeetle bit, but only a little! Damn you Erica, damn you!

And Ouran Koukou Host Club, Tokyo Crazy Paradise, Skip Beat (one of THE very very best!) and Nodame Cantabile!!! I ish in love with Nodame. <3

The Wallflower, going 61 chapters. Heaven!! only three volumes D: but still really good. Junai Tokkou Taichou, just cute ;D. Fruits basket, fricken twisted but lovely. oh and Special A.

Hana-Kimi is my fav ever. >_> It sparked my love for shoujo manga [I had read some before Hana-Kimi, but Hana-Kimi got me obsessed with them], and has been my fav ever since. I like Fruits Basket, but I do think it's a bit overrated.

Tokyo Crazy Paradise, Hot Gimmick, Ouran High School Host Club, Girl Got Game aka Power!!, and Hana Yori Dango aka Boys Over Flowers, HYD, are all good too. :3 Special A FTW! ;D
