I'm looking for a manga like Death Note and Akumetsu, in the sense that the protagonist is trying to change the world by killing bad guys or the like, and the police are after him. Thanks!
P.S. If you have any other suggestions that I might like, those are welcome too!

i'd highly recommend code geass, even though it's much better as an anime.

"The Record of a Fallen Vampire" aka Vampire Juujikai fits your description pretty well... and it's complete as well, so no waiting on next chapter needed.

Dendrobates - or maybe Shi ga Futari o Wakatsu Made and Gangsta. - may also be to your liking, since the main characters don't necessarily hesitate to kill "bad guys" and try to change their world somewhat through their actions. ^^

the thread title is a "politically correct" way of saying a manga about Terrorists
isn't a coincidence you posted it 3 days before 11sep :3
thanks to you i browsed the Terrorists tag and found Darkside Blues
the manga version of Anime of same name, I was searching for it for along time

where is Mirai Nikki?
anime is fine too, but I'd stick to the manga. It's the less boring version of death note...

Eden: It's an Endless World! it's been a while since i read this, but i think this is somewhat qualify. most of the main/side characters are quite....'not good' (mercenaries, terrorist, assassins, drug lords, etc). however, they do fight for what they believe in. i cant remember whether the world change because of their express desire, or 'just because'.

In the category of manga which is closer to Death Note, with out coping anything out of it, number one is...
1# "Lost+Brain"
read it and then tell me if i was wrong.
