I'm looking for a sports manga/anime with an unique protagonist. Someone who looks kind of weak, but has some badass moves. (The term "weak to strong" is also appreciated, but it is not a must have) I watched a few sport anime series/manga, I really liked Haikyuu, Kuroko no Basuke and Harigane Serve. It does not matter if it's shounen/shoujo/seinen/josei.
Series, I've read/watched so far:
Kuroko no Basuke
Baby steps
Haikyuu
Harigane Service
Ginga e Kickoff
Captain Tsubasa
Dia no Ace (It's cool, but it somehow repeats itself)
giant killing (watched first three episodes)
yowamushi pedal
are no kishi
chihayafuru
overdrive
free! (well, kind of sports...)
Purikyu
Sorairo Ageha
ginban kaleidoscope
If you make any recommendations, I would like to know why you think I shall start reading/watching this series Thanks.

Teppuu- she's badass from the start. <3 Awesome lead, not your typical female lead from any manga. Sadly, not a lot of chapters scanlated.

MC has a weak image but hidden skill XD
theme: American football. but don't worry since the mangaka explained everything clearly, I even understand the rules now haha..
also, there's Hiruma. who is he? you'd better read it fufufu

I personally do not read/watch sports anime/manga, but I know a few series that are supposed to be good. I’ve watched an episode of Prince of Tennis and the male protagonist seems to be very cool and intelligent. Maybe Cross game, and Ookiku Furikabutte (They have all been adapted to anime as well.)

Seconding King Golf and Ookiku Furikabutte.
Ping Pong : The MC never tries his best (you'll learn why later in the story), that's his main fault. And a lot of people assume he's good but not that great. But he's actually really badass. The comedy and characters are great. The manga focuses a lot on the mentality needed in order to win. The art style can put you off at first, it's very "psychedelic" but it fits the manga/anime very well.
Hajime no Ippo : Boxing. It's the classic from weak to strong, but the MC had potential from the start (hard hitter and toughness). The manga is very long and still ongoing. The anime is one of my favorite sports anime with Slam Dunk. Old school art style though (80's), and the characters faces are usually ugly (especially the women), but it's MUCH better during action scenes.
One Outs : Baseball. This one is great, even for non sports fans. The MC relies on his gambling skills to win. At first, almost everyone take him for a subpar pitcher with very few skills (when they realize the truth it's too already late). He's probably THE best manipulative protagonist ever in manga, and he is ruthless. Also don't expect fair play, enemies becoming friends, or such BS in this manga, this is professional baseball NOT high school (koshien and so on) : money and the players's jobs are on the line.
Initial D : Racing. The protagonist is a lazy, cool headed, easily bored guy. He doesn't care about about racing, or even cars in general. But once he's behind the wheel, he's an absolute genius while always being the underdog... Great manga and anime. The anime brings a lot more though, with the racing scenes really coming alive accompanied by old school House/Techno tracks. The very end of the series was a bit disappointing for me, but overall it's a good series to check.
Checking on the list of what you've read, they seem mostly very recent, with a modern/clean art style and your favs all border on shoujo-ish, so you might be put off by my recs. You should try One Outs first (an anime also exists), it's the most recent of my recs. If you like it then try the rest.

oh, thank you for all these recommendations!
@oneeyed: I admit the "old" artstyle might be different, but as long as the story is convincing, I don't really care thanks a lot for the recs and the reasons, why I should start reading this manga

Ping Pong is a masterpiece. And you could try the anime too, since, well... it was pretty awesome adaptation.
