I'm not really a fan of smut, soz guys. I like my yuri to be the emotional, touching type (not that type of touching, tsk you're all dirty minded).
I realise alot of these are Shoujo ai but meh, In no real order:
Girl Friends
Octave
Strawberry Shake Sweet
Aoi Hana
Even if We're not Friends and it's sequels.
Pieta
Hanjuku Joshi

I liked Midnight Flowers, simply for the delicate artwork and the well crafted plot, which was far more about the characters than the smut.
And although it's barely shoujo-ai, I love Pieta. Again, I look for plot much more than for smut.

I love yuri.
These are especially nice:
Himegami
Gurenki
Girl Friends
Octave
Shoujo Sect
Strawberry Shake
Sasame Kikoto
Maka-Maka
And anything I've read by Fujieda Miyabi

Quote from BimboSilly
Secret Garden is good and I love strawberry shake sweet but recently I have come to like girlfriends- I love Morinaga Milk's A Kiss, Love, and a Prince and many such one shots. I also like Zaou Taishi and EIKI eiki's Her and also their princess princess yuri shorts..
I love Morinaga Milk's Works too... Downloaded all that were ever Scanlated. And the best among them was Girlfriends. I also liked the Kuchibiru Tameiki Sakurairo series esp the Nana-Hitomi Pair.
Apart from that... Strawberry Shake Sweet
I also liked Strawberry Panic! I hope they had gone over two volumes. The anime is good too... but a little slow.

yuri isn't what I usually read, but I love Strawberry Panic! It was my first introduction into yuri, and it is still one that I read/watch constantly!

I am not really into reading explicit content but prefer something mild like kissing and touching so here are some of my favs/recommendations:
Junsui Adolescence : Even though it is a debut work, Kazuma Kowo (from what I heard is a teacher) made a very nice manga about a relationship between a teacher and a student. I love how Nanao tries to act like an adult and how Matsumoto-sensei is just as sweet as a child. It may not be the best out there in terms of plot and drawing. I think both of those are perfect done. The art style in the first story is pretty below average but it grows on me and it just gets better. I used to read a lot of yuris (then stopped completely 6 years ago) and I was completely brought back as a shoujo-ai lovers because of this. Maybe it reflects me back to the old days when I did something like Nanao did with my teacher (a woman) but of course, I never tell her I love her. Anyway, this is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED if any of you guys love the topic adult x adolescence. I think this can never be licensed in English because of the nature of the relationship but I may spend 4000 yen (900 for a book and 3100 for the shipping fees urg!) on this manga (I don't understand a Japanese word, btw). Just a few thoughts since I was like, the only one in my family, my circle of friends to read shoujo-ai mangas so...I may take this place as somewhere to rant . Matsumoto x Nanao is the best couple in my list.
Cotton or KONNO Kita's works : I won't say it is 100% shoujo-ai but it's simple and the story is well-told. I can't love it more. I don't like the long series 'The Secret Stairs' of KONNO Kita's but I recommend ALL of her one-shots especially In The Afternoon (I find Miwa-san and Moriya-san is the second best couple in my list. I find KONNO Kita-sensei's works are always simple yet touching so yeah, 'The Secret Stairs' maybe a good choice, too. It is just not my style.
Blue Friend : Absolutely compelling manga with ups and downs moments, loveable characters, twisted plot plus stunning art. I wish Yurikai will hurry up and finish the other 100 pages of extra story >_<
OTSU Hiyori's works such as Clover, Aqua Blue Cinema or Your Cuteness (I might also recommend her one-shots, too).
Octave : This looks like some low B manga (or at least that is what I thought). No it is not. I actually read it because I read all of the above TOO many times already . Contrary to my initial thoughts, Octave delivers raw and very real feelings then I find myself could not stop reading the series. I haven't seen the ending so I couldn't tell if I'm happy with this manga or not but I hope it is not sad . BTW, it did have some sex scenes but i think those are quite a filler in the manga. However, they did develop the character. Also highly recommended .
Well, that's it . Hope you guys enjoy my list
