What I'm getting at is that I want a romance manga where the girl falls for a guy first. Then there's a nice little storyline where there's other girls chasing that guy, or that guy likes another girl, or something, and all of that hurts the main character girl. But in the end he chooses the main character, that kind of manga. Something along those lines.

I don't know why, but mangas where the guy chases the girl isn't as interesting to me. Maybe a manga where the guy isn't completely head over heels for the girl would work just as well.

Please check out my lists, if you can, to see the mangas im reading/ read/ want to read to make sure there's no overlap or incase you want to emphasize why I should read on of them on my list.

Happy suggesting guys smile wink grin !!

Itazura na Kiss is the first one that comes to mind, but the manga art is hideous so I recommend the anime (which I think could be considered better in other ways too).

edit: okay so I looked at the manga again and the art isn't that bad... but the anime has an ending while the mangaka died before she could finish it.

Love Com

You can probably find a lot more if you search using the "unrequited love becomes requited" tag or the "unrequited love" tag with the "female lead falling in love first" tag (or omitting the "male lead falling in love first" tag). The "assertive female lead" and "persistent female lead" tags might also be helpful.
