I use CDisplay. It's free, easy to use, the page isn't resized, and it doesn't hurt the eyes like what the Windows slideshow thing does.

I use an extremely big monitor to read manga.

I use IrfanView.the pictures are big enough and I like the black background(doesn't disturb me unline windows gallery).Maybe I'll use something else in the future

I checked, and NOONES posted this. I was like, SURPRISED!@@!~. Its the BEST thing to read manga with, and its easy and free (Wow, sounds like im trying to sell it >_<)

Anyways, Ive been using this for a long time now, and ive used others. i tried cdisplay, and that doesnt even hold up against this >_>

Just enter that link, save, Install and youre ready.

It opens .zips, .rar's and so on and so on. Just goto archives , click file, click add folder/file to archive, and then when its added, click play and it opens! You can zoom in, move around, and all this other stuff. Most of which you have to figure out for yourself xD

I give it 4/5 (4 cause it confused me at the beggining >_<)

CDisplayEx... works great most of the time, only has problems if you are trying to view an archive containing archives.

Just used eManga. Bit of a pain, to start. The pages are large outside the screans boarders and the no used scroll is not good. It would be time consuming to load all that just to view one file. It did not even view pics.

CDisply does pictures as well as zip and rar files most of the time..

I don't understand why it's necessary to read the manga inside the zip or rar... Why don't you just extract it to read?

Because it's an extra step you don't need to do. If you plan on keeping the archive file, then your just going to take up space after it decompresses, and then your going to have to delete it afterwards. So technically it's two extra steps.

Two extra steps, but at least you can see previews. And also, it decompresses into what? 100? 300kb extra maybe? I say it's worth it. Besides, its easier to double click and open an image file rather than going to an image viewer software and open the archive file. Is that...two extra steps, or are both sides the same now?

Well if you have a directory with a bunch of folders (ie one volume with multiple chapters), if you want to view the chapters you have to go to the chapter folder, read it, back track, go to the next chapter folder, etc... With an archive viewer, it displays it in a sequential order so it goes from images from first folder, to images in second folder etc, till images in last folder. That's a lot easier IMO.
Plus you can select cdisplayex or whatever program by right clicking the archive and using the open with context menu. Or give them a .cbr extension and allow it to automatically open up in it whenever you double click it.

Most manga viewer software allows Thumbnail viewing. And 300Kb If you're decompressing a chapter, it can probably be up to 75MB (see darker than black HQ release). Decompressing that file can take a while depending on computer's speed.

75mb extra?! HOLY....how big is the archive file? 100mb? the normal chapters I get are less than 10mb

No, the archive file is 75.7MB. Not all chapter sizes are small, so unraring, unzipping them can be bothersome sometimes.
