[authors of Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew series] - these series got me started on reading looooooooooong books, no small thanks to my sister.

Mario Puzo / The Sicilian - yes i know he's most famous for the Godfather series, but i actually loved the Sicilian the most.

John Grisham / A Painted House - this book is a huge deviation from his other more famous works such as 'A time to kill' and 'Runaway Jury"

Sidney Sheldon / Tomorrow never dies - hehehe awakened my hormones when i was entering my teens. I thought the author was a 'she'!

Anne Rice / Interview with the Vampire - dont know what to say here. the movie misleads u on who the main protagonist is.

JRR Tolkien / The Lord of the Rings - i love and have read all his works actually. im a tolkien freak!!!!

[Nameless authors of countless romance novels] - i used to 'borrow' my sister's books just to read the 'steamy' parts... Note to parents: believe your teenagers when they say its 'educational'.

Nancy Drew is what made me love reading!
John Grisham got me interested in criminal justice
Anne Rice got me into vampires

i wrote an 8 page thesis for my HS social studies class on homer....i learned a lot (i picked the hardest topic >< there's like no information on him).

i love Anne Frank and Elie Wiesel too....Night really changed my life
